Hey guys. I normally don't post here (on The Lounge) but I want to share something with you guys. I live in Rio, where I have been most of my life. I know most people think of it as a really dangerous city. I've lived here most of my life, taking public transportation, using my iPhone in the street, and I've been in any kind of danger at all. That changed last week. I work in a small street paralel to one of the biggest avenues in the city. I have to cross that avenue to take bus home. Hi, I've been thinking about moving abroad a lot recently, and besides reading random opinions on the net, I was thinking about asking you what your opinion is as a lot of people from different countries from all over the world come here. The thing is that I'll be turning 21 this year and I'm studying university, economics. In three years, when I'm 24, I'll (hopefully) have a master's degree. I live in the Czech republic, where the life isn't that bad like somewhere else, but I'd like to try living somewhere else anyway. At my bank they offer credit cards to students and i was wondering if its a good idea if i should get one, i feel like i am responsible with my money and i can handle one. but i want some other opinions on this before i make a decision P.s. im a 17 year old high school senior whos graduating in a few weeks just to put that out there.... so advice please! So, theres this party coming up on this weekend and my girlfriend wanted me to go so she can watch me get drunk, but im uncomfortable about doing that since i dont like the type of crowd thats gonna be there (Drunk Rednecks, which im not.) so i said i didnt want to go but ill go if shes still going just to watch out for her, she wont be going. now she's telling me that i cant go because ill be too protective. And now we are fighting because i dont want her to go to a party with a bunch of drunk guys, and shes saying that im being too protective, annoying, and untrusting... Okay so a while back my ceramics teacher assigned us a project in which we were supposed to create found object art such as *ahem* This: So I got a scale (like the kind they use to symbolize justice) and I decided I would try to create two sides fighting on each side. I got some toy soldiers and put them on each side. And now I present my issue; IT LOOKS PATHETIC AND WEAK AND LIKE SHIT AND OMG I NEED TO MAKE THIS BETTER. Any ideas on how to make this look like two sides waging a war on each other? :\ Please reply!
