Recently volunteered to be a St Baldrick's shavee to raise money to fight children's cancer. Anyone else participated in one of these? I hear they have functions everywhere. Curious what the experience was like.

So, as most of you probably know, I'm highly anti-social and don't make friends easily. However, there's an opportunity in my school to be part of a one-sided exchange program with a German school - basically, we host them when they come over here. We have our own version of that with another school in Germany, where we go over there for a few weeks and stuff but it's not a direct exchange. I don't know if I'd be a good host for an exchange student though, and I'm worrying about that. :| It would be for two weeks, and they'd go to school with us two times each week and then most of the rest of the time would be spent on little trips like day trips to NYC and stuff. The…

Cause obviously when you're writing a song it's because you think it's good; it's stuck in your head a lot. Does Coldplay have Coldplay on their iPod? Or do they at least keep a copy of the albums they release and their merchandise? Do toy designers own a box of the toys they make? etc etc this has been in my head all day DISCUSS

Replaced by typing, touch screen writing with your finger, or something else I have yet to think of. I'm talking in a long long long long time. Or maybe not die out, but continually fade until it's something of a novelty or quirk.

Well not really. I really don't know this fucking hiccup that I have won't go away. I mean it would stop for a while, and then it'll return. This has been happening for a few days already. WHAT TO DO???

So recently I've purchased a pair of Sennheiser HD 380 Pro's (Upgraded from the 280's), and I have to say I could not have been more satisfied and definitely got the most bang for my buck. These are without a doubt one of the best pairs of headphones I've ever had for the price. Now before this purchase I of course tested out several models from a few leading brands (AKG, Audio Technica, Bose, Skullcandy, Sennheiser, Shure, and Beats by Dre). Since Beats by Dre was the most hyped among these brands I decided to test them out first, resulting in a massive disappointment of muddy sound quality, flimsy build quality, uncontrolled bass, and a ridiculous price tag. After a wh…

Her ringtone is a song that I don't know, but it bothers me that I don't know what it is. I can't really tell what the woman is singing, except for where she says "we could just travel" or something. The rest sounds like it's about rowboats or aromas or something. idk. But she's in the shower and I don't know what to do what do i do

BORED ON A SUNDAY EVENING?! I am. http://theinkblot.com/ Test Results Sickness Quotient: 28% Hmmm, your "Sickness Quotient" of 28% is a little worrisome. Detailed Diagnosis Interpersonal Insights You are most at ease with people you know well, your attempts to engage with others in group social situations can come off as laboured. You can tend to struggle spending more then a few minutes with people if you do not entirely trust them or know a lot about them, but your positive outlook means that others are more at ease with you as a genuine person then you realise. Job Performance & Attitude You are motivated and this is appreciated at work. You …

Hi, I had a sweet friend named Olivia/Revolwem. She was an active poster here. I have never posted here. I had a dream about her last night. I have had quite a few. We talked for four years--we were very close. Last year she disappeared. I miss her. I tried to google here again today, for the millionth time... Apparently there was a thread here called "Time to say Bye" that was recently locked. But the google cache showed that someone said that he missed Olivia (Revolwem/libbymew) as well. Does anyone know anything about her? It's particularly painful because at one point we were somewhat in love I guess. I never had closure. Sometimes I wonder if she is still al…

I'd like to bring some attention to Project: AK-47, an organization that "rescues child soldiers and children in armed conflict in Southeast Asia and Latin America and provides them with long-term care and rehabilitation through adulthood". Since there seems to be some controversy (read the second comment) surrounding Invisible Children, and they have a large following to begin with, it's only fair to shed light on some other really shitty issues involving children in other parts of the world--but please do not be deterred from donating to Invisible Children unless you have reached a negative conclusion after researching it for yourself.

Check out my listings. I feel like a total douche, asking you guys to take a peek. But if you do see something that you love, message me. I will work something out. That must be a good offer, right? Also, if anyone else wants to put their pages up, I might not be able to resist a looksie.
