A friend of mine just called and told me she has a spare RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS ticket for tomorrows show in Hyde Park. She asked if I wanted it. I'm so pissed off because I had to say no, because I've got to work. She told me to take a sickie but I can't because I've only been there 3 weeks and if I take too many days off they will put me on an action contract and extended probabtion. This is the second time I've had to say no to her, a couple of weeks ago she asked me if I wanted to see incubus with her and ugh..I'm just so frustrated now. I'm not exactly the biggest chillis fan in the world, but it would have been really cool to see them...ugh, im really really annoyed…

Im sorry for your loss :/ 2-1 to France, that was absolutely insane. Only Zinedine Zidane can play for 90 minutes without doing a damn thing and then turn around and score 2 wicked goals (Well, the penalty was calm and cool, very few stars could do that). Try not to cry, too hard. Hopefully they realise that this was just one disastrous match and can be thankful such a tragedy didnt happen in the Final- they are still in the tournament and should most definately come 2nd. Beating France was not a "Should definately" sorta thing, and they still NEARLY did it, the boys dun good. Good luck.

am I the only one that suffers from lapsex when you can't remember a word in your own language? You know my english is terrible, but when it comes to writing (i.e I'm writing an email in spanish) I just can't remember some words! Since I'm so used to writing here is english, bad english, but still english and since I read quite a lot of english literature and listen people speaking aswel........ argh! I needed to say that I was feeling uncomfortable, but I couldn't find the equivalent in spanish! like..... I never can...... the same with motion, library, coliflowers, cucumber, etc.......... it's like........ argh!! :angry:

could we all just try a little harder to use a subject line that's at least slightly connected to the content of the post? it would be much easier to remember what's in a thread than trying to sort through subjects like "WEEEEEEE" and "whoa" and "woooooooo" and other monosyllabic sounds that may or may not start with the letter w. *reads post so far* run on sentences are clearly ok, though. :rolleyes:

you always talk about the bandwith or something like that (it's spelled similar to that) on this site. It's like the total quiantity of info you can put here, in size. Well, I was thinking, you say you buy it and the more you put, or give to us, the more you need to have, hence buy. How come hotmail and yahoo are giving like 100 MB and more....... do they have unlimited bandwith or they just pay HUGE bills for that? :confused:

Howdy! I was wondering if any of you great people have done the unimaginable and given thought to or read-up on Hinduism, or asked a Hindu about his/her belief system, etc. I know how it goes in the schools...and even the books don't do proper justice to that religion. But, if you have done your own reading or wondered about it, I'd really like to know your thoughts on it. I'm not doing this to "convert" anyone. I just am trying to help myself understand others so it would be cool to get your perspective on Hinduism. I don't expect a whole lot of replies (perhaps one, from Carla! haha), but I'd really really appreciate if you do have anything to shar…
