  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

Music video w/ bizarre instrument

This is my first time creating a thread, so forgive me if this isn't done properly. Here goes...

A couple years back I remember watching a ton of Coldplay music videos on Youtube and I came across one which used a bizarre instrument not normally utilized by the band. If I remember correctly, Chris was using it during a part when he wasn't singing. I want to say that it almost looked like a kazoo, but I'm fairly sure that that's not what it was. Also I think the video was from either the AROBTTH or X&Y era, but I still can't seem to find it again!!!

Does anyone know the video I'm talking about and what the instrument is?

Thanks!

I don't. I'm pretty sure that it was an official video for one of their singles from either AROBTTH or X&Y, but I can't be sure. I checked on Youtube again recently to find the video and can't seem to find it. Perhaps it was taken down...

Last night I remembered that Princess of China exists and sort of

Maybe I should've posted this in C.A.T.S., but anyway...

A week ago I fell in love with a little kitty with green eyes...

But I can't bring it home with me

Today 5 years ago - on 22.6.08 - Viva la Vida went to no. 1 in the UK.

On that occasion I fell totally - and for good - in love with that song and Coldplay.

5 years Coldplay anniversary for me. :vuvuzela: :vuvuzela:

^ Wow!! how time flies :shocked2:

Happy Anniversary Nancy

Happy Anniversary!

I honestly don't know exactly when I fell in love with coldplay.... Hmmmmm.......

December 2010, i was searching on youtube for a The Temper Trap song and I came across In My Place, I fell in love with them, in 2 days i had 53 songs.

In April of 2011 they were my favourite band, my first gift by on of my best friends was Viva La Vida and a poster, that cd was my first CD ever, on 9 September 2011 I "official" became a fan, by creating a folder on my computer dedicated to them, today that folder is 80 GB big.

On 24 May 2012 I saw them live for the first time.

This is basically my story with Coldplay.

Last night I remembered that Princess of China exists and sort of

P.O.C. is a lie.

P.O.C. is a lie.

True, it's my least favorite Coldplay song, but it's still a good song.....

I'll always get excited when one band I love gives a shout-out to another band I love :wacky:

I was just swimming with my friends and we were playing a game, and i gave a category like "favorite umbrella" and one of them said "coldplay guitar umbrella" and so I screamed "Jonny buckland!" And probably woke up the entire neighborhood. :D

Found this in the MX folder.

Yesterday once again I realised how much I love AROBTTH. I consider every song from this album as a brilliant song and piece of art. I'm so in love with it. I can listen to the full album, song by song, over and over again. I'll never get over it!

I think I've found my one true love...

I feel the same way. There are a lot of Great albums but few perfect ones. AROBTTH is one.
