Yeah, that video is really weird.... but maybe I'm just a fan of videos that have something to do with the lyrics. =P

I know some people don't like it a lot and that's ok but I have to say that I like it. I think it's different in a goodway and nah i just like it. I just like it.

it just looks like a cheap video to me... shot on location with a handheld camera probably over two days...

but i could see "the powers that be" giving the band the ultimatum of either doing the free shows... or an expensive music video....

and if i win tickets to one of the free shows then i am very happy with their decision to do a cheap video... but if not, then i wish they would have opted for a more expensive music video.

it looked fun what chris was doing at the end. it's so not what i expected but i don't really care i still enjoyed it, and will watch it time and time again with a smile :)

To be honest I couldn't care less about the video. They are what ruined great music anyway... Thanks MTV :)

I know a lot of people hate it, but I actually love it! It's EXACTLY what Chris was talking about when he said that instead of getting bigger, they wanted to get better. The parts on the stairs with all the drumming I didn't care so much for, but all the stuff on the top of the hill (;)), them just goofing around having fun playing and singing I think is what a music video is all about! It did remind me of something the Beatles or the Monkees would do. Sped up video of them playing and laughing. I think my favorite bits are the close ups and Chris walking in the snow. The colors (or lack there of) are very bland and painterly. I can't wait to own this one!!

 

p.s. somewhat off subject, but I just didn't know where else to ask. But has anyone in the states received their copy of the NME magazine yet? I emailed them twice regarding it and have yet to receive an answer. I know I'm probably being impatient and it's still a few days off, but I'd really like to have it soon.
