August 2, 200817 yr i love both!!! chris looked damn perfect in both videos..and the eyeeeeessssss :stunned: anyway, i love how in the second video chris looked like a little child trying to wear a king costume and bringing some very big thing with him wherever he goes.. and the rest of the band came at the end..i bet chris laughed really hard seeing the rest of the band's expression on their faces! :laugh3:

August 2, 200817 yr thanks for posting them :thumbsup: i prefer the cover vid is funny, chris looks like a Rey Mago :P :laugh2: btw does anybody know where it was filmed? too bad that is only chris on this one, am i right? :( It's filmed in Holland in The Hague and Madurodam, I don't think the beach is schevingen though it's probably more north zandvoort or something and it's not just chris, the rest walks in near the end of the video to oooohh along
August 2, 200817 yr I really love how in the official video they are inside the Delacroix painting. All the pastel looking colors around them. And its blurred a bit. And the effect on the camera that makes the image look aged and cracked a little bit. I think its a really cool idea.

August 2, 200817 yr I like the concept of them being inside the painting but overall the video was mediocre. The second one was a bit more entertaining. Overall both are good and I'm glad to see they are not limited to one type of video. Hype Williams was an odd choice as director. He mostly does hip hop/rap videos. Very Talented Guy but I would of never thought he would direct a coldplay video.

August 2, 200817 yr I think lots of people prefer the 2nd one mainly because it kinda tells a story and the 1st one is just a live performance with special effects. But I like both!! They are cool. But the 2nd one is soooo simple but sooooo great. That is the better one I think!!
