TGIF! My belated take ... the Hype video has beautiful colors and lighting ... it even seems like certain frames of the video appear to have a painting like quality (can't think of a word to describe it); but, overall, the video does remind me of the Apple commercial.

 

The Corbijn video is hilarious, a bit dark and, yes, beautiful, as many here have already described ... and the final frames of Jonny, Guy and Will "oohing" at the end are priceless.

How hot does Chris look in both videos especially in the first one! His eyes kill me. They're bluer than the sky

I thought both videos were great. I thought the official one was good and colorful, and it was great that you could see all of the band, especially singing. But I think the second one was better because it fits the song more and is pretty funny.

Chris = God.

The first one has nice effects.I like it but i like the second one a little better.Chris looks so into character and kind of looks sad.Nice vids!

the first one is great it just wasn't at all what I had pictured.

the second one is hilarious and is a true testament to how good looking mr. martin really is as he is in a very similar getup as the mascot for burger king and he still looks friggin hot :)

Thanks for giving me the feeling im perfectly normal :). Chris really is amazing..I'm starting to think I'm Bisexual lol.

The first video is definitely better. It's visually stunning and has more of the entire band. I also love how blue Chris' eyes look. :kiss:

 

The second one is very cute and funny with Chris walking around in in his king attire. :lol:

The second one is pretty funny but I just see it as a nice treat for the fans, not as an official video. I hope that's not the one they send to TVs because as great as the video is, it's still a pretty serious song and I wouldn't want people to get the wrong impression of the band and go through another Violet Hill.

 

As the for the first one, I find it pretty irritating mainly because it should be an amazing clip, but it isn't. The idea behind it was great but the way it was finally executed is poor. Lighting, editing, camera angles, most people might not notice it but it really lets the clip down as to something quite mediocre.

The official should have stayed with the same outstanding colors as in the clip from Itunes that would have made it more dramatic with the exposion of color... but I still liked it with the whole band included.

 

I liked the cover better, although the rest of the guys don't appear until the end. But Chris just looked so lonely walking around with his picture everywhere. It's another Coldplay moment! :)
