Life in Technicolor ii

Featured Replies

I can't wait to hear this!!!

The current instrumental version is superb and a great concert opener...... but i am confident the new version will be even better!!!

This is the 3rd incarnation of the song..... the guys must really rate it.... so i have full faith that it will be superb!!

I totally agree. Life in Technicolor is such a lovely song :D It's going to be hard to stay patient for Prospekt's March.

theres 3 versions of life in technicolor? i mean i already know the viva la vida and the new one comming out. but wats the third one?

Well, The Escapist is also a simple version of LiT with lyrics.

I love this song!!! Way excited to hear the new one:D

Live The Life

im so excited 4 the release of this song!!

the origional is the best even though its just instramental. its really catchy and vibrant and makes u wanna hum it all day long.

but this has ta be the one im mostly atisipating.

I wouldn't say The Escapist is a different version of LIT. LIT is the dulcimer riff that Guy plays in the video for it, the bit before that is Light Through The Veins (Jon Hopkins), which is also The Escapist.

I looooovee LIT... can't wait to hear it with lyrics!!! It'll probably be really uplifting with words, even though it already is without the words! And it's a great song to go running to, might I add, since the music just builds up and it has a great beat!:)

I am really excited about this one!

LiT is ALWAYS the first song I listen to everyday! I just love it, although I can't imagine it with text, but it's going to be awesome, I just know it!

This is the track I'm most looking forward to hearing off Coldplay's upcoming EP. "Life in Technicolor," despite only being an instrumental, is absolutely terrific and E-P-I-C. I love listening to the track really loud, and it makes for a great concert opener indeed.

Lost! @ Square One

Yeah, you're right.

I absolutely cant picture this song with lyrics now, it should very cool to hear it.

yea i'm so excited for this song. remember when chris talked about it in that Q Radio interview? i just re-listened to it and first he says "it's really good." and then he plays the beginning of it and the lyrics are "there's a wild wind blowing down the corner of my street every night there the headlights are glowin'"? something like that.... anyway i can't wait to hear the rest.

Will LiT ii be the lyric version. Or an extension of LiT, i remember reading somewhere all we have is like up to the second verse. and that there is more to the song musically as well as lyrics.

I've been trying to guess how the lyrics will fit in with the current instrumental. Obviously it's going to be longer, but I think the intro will be the same, the verse will start once the bass comes in and the outro bridge to the instrumental will be the chorus. the ooh-ooh-oh-oh is kinda of a giveway to that.

But afterwards the dulcimer will come back again, and another verse will start, followed by another chorus, and maybe we'll get a different outro or a bridge that we didn't know existed. Going by the rest of the album I'm guessing it will be around 3:45-4:00 min.

Im soooooooooooo HAPPY!!!

I can't wait until november would n't wanna change a thing!

I wonder what will be the lyrics, on the rs preview they said something about baby it's a violent world, but is n't the title and the music related to life and happiness??
