I will keep my eyes open for roadies everywhere!!!....hopefully they don't give all their tickets to people in the lawn. lol! I was so ripped off. I paid the amount for reserved seating and I am 1 row away from the lawn :(.... oh well "anything for Coldplay" :)

Maybe you should just hang out on the lawn until the show starts since you are so close, ha. I bet you only have to show your ticket to get into each reserved section, but the lawn you prob just show it at the gate and sit. I am betting it will be lawn seats that get upgraded though. Think about it, the PIT is general admission and the lawn is general admission... They aren't going to want all these empty seats in reserved from the people being upgraded. On the lawn, you can't tell they moved... mmm, in a way it makes me want to have a lawn seat just to have the opportunity of being upgraded!

We shall see what the Roadies decide to do;). Well since the band is playing at many venues that have a lawn before they come to Houston, we can see who the roadies upgrade, that is if they upgrade.:\

If Oxfam are traveling with the band, the seats given up by upgraded people go to the Oxfam volunteers, so they won't be empty.

not true. i wasn't an oxfam volunteer at the november concert and neither was anyone around me. around 92 people got upgraded at the nov concert and i'm pretty sure none of them were oxfam volunteers.

I think she means the seats vacated by those who were upgraded were given to the Oxfam volunteers... since then there would be 92 empty seats. I was wondering if maybe they would only give upgrades to those on the lawn at the woodlands since there are no 'seats' per se. But it looks like that might not be the case :D

:smug:

This WILL NOT be your last Coldplay concert. Actually my first was in 2003 (I think) with my daughter at the Saunger Theatre in New Orleans (50 miles from me). When she asked me to take her, I had never heard of the group. Upon leaving the concert I told her that "If Coldplay comes withing 500 miles of us, ever again, we would get tickets, no matter what. At 56 years old I have heard them all, Coldplay is in first place in my opinion.............CD's in my truck, my Corvette,my iPod,my computer....... they are evrywhere I go........

Since then we have been to 2 others including last November in Houston.

We now go as a group with all my daughters,daughter-in-laws, and anyone else in the family that wants. We have 12 tickets for the July Woodlands show. Really, I am like a teenager agian and can not wait to see them again. :laugh3:

You're gonna love them heinzkrohn............:D

Great! I hope so.

I'm from Venezuela, and I have already the ticket of the travel and for the concert. This gonna be a dream come true for me.

We got tickets to the Houston show too but now that they're coming to San Antonio my boyfriend wants to sell the Houston tickets. If anyone's interested in Sec 101, Row Z tickets let me know

We really wanted to go to all three Texas show but we can afford the travel expense now :(

I'm a fairly new Coldplay fan and I'm thinking about going to this concert, but all my brothers wanna go, my dad decided he wants to come, and my cousin wants to come now also. Do you think it'll be worth it taking these people with me?

Also, one of my brothers is 10, and is fairly short, is there any point in taking him?

In addition, is there any recommended sites to buy tickets from, I found like $210/ ticket for Sec. 103 Row DD- Is that a good price?

Hope you guys can help me and thanks.

Sec 101, Row Z[/color] tickets let me know or e-mail [email protected].

If you want to scalp tickets, try Stubhub. People on here need to be selling for face value only.

Yep, that's what I'm hoping to do: volunteer with Oxfam at the West Palm Beach concert :smug: (maybe I could travel to other places, but I don't know if there;s a volunteer limit :uhoh:)

So fellow coldplayers, any ideas on stalking? :p
Be early at the venue.

Hmm.. interesting, please elaborate:)...

Four seasons, why so?

2 tickets face value

bought my tickets for houston before i knew there would be a san antonio show. i would much rather see coldplay in san antonio since it is home and they have never been here. would love to go to both shows but then i would have no money for U2 tickets. unfortunately, i have to choose one. paid $258 for two tickets. will round it down to $250.

I think someone posted about it on the Houston 2008 concert thread

maybe a newspaper article about Gwyneth staying at the Four Seasons in Houston, and some people spotting her at a nearby store (mind you, it must have been a fancy one :smug:)

EDIT: and that's all I can recall. But I would stick to "showing up early at the venue" and "staying for a while afterwards"

Can you tell me the details of the ticket or you can just pm me if you want.

There are 125 days left

We were fortunate enough to get tixs for the New Orleans Arena concert on June 9th. So, looks like I'll be doing that one along with the July concert at Cynthia Woods in Houston.:):)

sigh.................Life is tough sometimes, .....................Its great to be retired and do the things (like this) that I dreamed of during my working career and didnt have the time................Now, if only Coldplay could come up with another concert around November, THAT would be the bomb my friends..........:D:wink3:

Since I am retired and not much going on, what are the chances Coldplay would hire me to be a "roadie" ????????????

I would work for food/board albeit on a bus with midnight hours (seasoned to that with 35 years of shift work).

Hey, where do I apply? >.............................

ANY COLDPLAY STAFF FOLKS READING THIS ?????????????

I SAID I WOULD WORK FOR FREE............. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!;););)

^Well, Debs (fan liason, she's in charge of fan affairs) and Phil Harvey (5th Coldplay member) are know to visit the forum, but Debs is the one who has posted.

Cant wait for that day in July.
