Even if everyone loved ETIAW as much as you do, if it wasn't on the album you'd get MORE songs. What's so hard to understand?

Having more songs > having songs on the album that we already know and will get with the single anyways.

I mean, I really don't like the fact that I will have to buy ETIAW AGAIN in order to get Major Minus and additional songs!

I don't think it's been mentioned yet unless I'm missing it... there will be one pre-order bundle that is signed by the band.

I'd expect most of the new songs we've heard live to be on the album with maybe a couple not making it. If these new live songs weren't on the album just think of the setlist crisis they'd encounter when playing the unheard album material on tour + old favourites + the new live tracks we've already heard.

 

That said I wouldn't be surprised if a song or two we've heard aren't on the album. And I'm thinking Princess of China could be one of the new songs to be revealed next week.

Damn I'm quite exited. Though I don't want to pay for ETIAW again. Also hopeful then we'll get more than 10-11 new songs worth after all the new stuff is released!

Why don't they just release these bonus tracks as a little EP instead of bundling them with ETIAW?!

Or better even, why don't they release Major Minus as a single with bonus tracks? That way we could forget that they released ETIAW. :P

Once again MTV show how utterly irrelevant they are. And you know somethings not right when the b-side is better than the actual single.

What would be really cool is if I got the iTunes bundle, if it would "recognize" that I already purchased ETIAW and give me that as credit toward the new purchase, because it's not like I had a choice before.

But somehow I doubt that.

 

As much as I like MM, I think I might actually hold off on any of these pre-order deals and wait until it is released. I'd much rather just buy MM by itself.

I don't like that they release the extra material only on iTunes. It's unfair cause not everyone can buy from there. I'd really love to have those, but I'll just have to buy the regular one. If I want the other ones I can't find a legal way of getting them. It would be just better if they released an EP.

The problem is that usually to get the bonus/additional material you need to buy the whole release.

so these single might make 4+ songs? an EP maybe, I think they will relese a small album before the big one, like with VLV and PM but all backwards...
