Better than the previous releases, not great anyway, but a calm and kind of sad ballad, wich I like.

I really want to save listening to this song and the rest of the ones that haven't been heard until the album comes out because I want the element of surprise when I listen to the 6 or 7 that I didn't hear yet. Does anyone think it's worth it or to just go in and listen to every new one that is put up on youtube from these festivals?

Im sorta disappointed i was really excited for this but the chorus is boring just repeating up in flames and the verses are alright and the tick tock sound is a little annoying. i expected something with more of an edge but i guess thisll do.

I'm glad to hear people like this song. I won't be listening it until the album comes out though because I just can't have anymore of the album spoiled for me. I want that first time experience!

Hm...I mainly heard disappointment. Don't get me wrong. Sompe people say they like it, because its easy and simple and hasn't synth. But its not as overwhelming as it was described. There were extremly high hopes for this song after Paradise and ETIAW but its not the song which will stuck in the head for years. Just some thoughts based on the reactions I read.

 

I'm not a bit confused about the "a bit boring" comments.

 

It scares me that there isn't a wild discussion about it because every time there were this discussions I loved the song (ETIAW, Paradise, Major Minus Studio version...). ;)

 

I won't listen the song until the album comes out.

Maybe hearing a better quality version tonight might help. And as for all the repetition, it may be for a live audience to sing along with (i.e. ENL.) Maybe it won't be quite as chorus-y on the album. Just guessing though.

This song will be great on the studio version. I guarantee the chorus will sound brilliant in the studio when Chris isn't in the middle of a 18 song set trying to sing in falsetto. And Johnny's guitar part, which is hard to make out, will be fantastic as well.
