The fact is that apparently his job on the album is done, so it is certain that the album is in a very advanced stage.

It could be August, but it could also be in 6 months. Notice he also mentioned other artists.

 

For instance, the Duran Duran new album will be released on September 11, 2015.

However, there is no release date yet for the albums of Zucchero, Neil Diamond, Jake Bugg and Flight Facilities.

Oh, and by the way, I am pretty certain that the album is going to be very poppy. I would prefer rock, but let's hold our horses and listen before judging.

A single released next month and the album out in November makes the most sense.

You're going to drive yourself crazy if you go month by month saying/hoping/praying that next month is gonna be the month. Just relax, ppl going off rumours and gut feelings just sets others up for disappointment. When it doesn't pan out.

The band is aiming for an end of the year release. They're already done recording the album, it's in the mixing process as of now. It's getting closer and closer.

0% chance this happens. Coldplay already cost their label lots of $$$ by not touring extensively with GS. LP7 is where they make their money back and it wont be through letting ppl pay what they want for the album.

 

I don't mean do the exact same thing just something with the same impact in the media and music community.

Plus right now all I really care about is when the first single will be released.

I find it funny that we get more news from Mr. Rossi than anyone else involved with the band.

I know we shouldn't get overly excited and we need to put things in perspective but let's just take the info for what it is and take all knowledge in since we don't even know anything. And plus the sources can be valuable. That guy who told us the name of Ghost Stories before it came out was probably labeled as a scammer too but he turned out right. So let's not knock down every piece of info that is released. Cause who knows if it's fake or not?

Totally agree. Plus, when GS came out 1 or 1/2 month later an anonymous person said that the band were already working on a new album with GS and that the band would launch this LP 1 year after, and much people don't believe...and now look where we are. For real that rumor was like july or june from last year

I agree. I take all the rumors with a pinch of salt but it's always fun to speculate while we wait :)

It is crazy.. I for one think this is likely.. It just feels like The timeline needs to be updated, maybe with some artwork or a single announcement, maybe they will tweet some clues of where to find some new material hidden in the timeline.

 

It is good to be skeptical, but so much evidence is really pointing towards material any day now. End of month!? Maybe this week??

Honestly if that were to be true it'd be the nail in the coffin for Coldplay's image and legacy.

I'm just waiting to hear something, until then I'm going to stay as optimistic as possible.
