For example when Radiohead did the pay what you want thing for their album In Rainbows. 0% chance this happens. Coldplay already cost their label lots of $$$ by not touring extensively with GS. LP7 is where they make their money back and it wont be through letting ppl pay what they want for the album. Regarding the Rossi quote. To me, it means nothing, 'cause those who were paying attention could deduct that the album will come sooner rather than later anyways. As Sparky said, you can't really pinpoint from the quote whether 'soon' means next month or the end of the year; 'soon' is purely subjective.
