I can't help thinkin this is some kind of a right on the name of the band (Coldplay) and its likeness (so for instance somebody can't just pretend to be them)... That they are still in the recording studio, that they want to wait till next year, that a surprise is coming. But why the silence? It is torture! Who says Name and Likeness wasn't shelved for the purpose of being reworked and released in the future? Even Car Kids was still on the band's mind during the recording of GS. There was a fan at the Bakery back in late 2013 who was told by a band member that they "have it on the back burner but they might rethink it."
