By the way, I don't wanna spoil the mood in this thread, but I have to say i feel so sad right now. In the news I read about the loss of lives in India following the devaluation of cash by the government a few days ago and it made me very depressed :(

When I read stuff like that right in juxtaposition to articles about Coldplay performing or whatever I think that we are all really privileged and I feel a bit guilty about it. We are worrying about "Should I buy standing or seated tickets for Coldplay" or "How many novel tracks will the new EP have" or "Please Coldplay, perform I Ran Away during the AHFOD Tour" and then you look at the news and you realize how freaking unimportant these things are.

Of course this doesn't have to do with only India, it's a general thing in the world and the reason I post it here is that when I read the news about the India I had in mind that Coldplay was performing there in 2 days so my brain couldn't help connecting the two things. So reading about India was the trigger but like I said, this is a global thought and applies to everywhere in the world.

So in short, I feel that "here am I in my little bubble" of luxury problems and I feel very guilty and depressed right now :(

I know what you mean. Everytime I see something terrible on the news I feel the exact same way. Guilty and undeserving of the privileges I have. But it's important to understand that guilt doesn't really help anyone or do anything productive. Of course, we're much better off than millions of people worldwide but that doesn't mean we don't or shouldn't feel depressed or hurt or fret over personal things.''Even if you're Brad Pitt, if you've got a problem that day, it's a problem''. I mean obviously we need to look at things in perspective and realize that the two problems aren't really on the same scale. But that doesn't invalidate our feelings. It's human nature. We can only appreciate happiness if we experience sadness and both those things are relative. We just need to realize that a lot of what we have are privileges and need to be appreciated and not let ourselves grow immune to the suffering of others.

(I hope that didn't sound like complete nonsense. I'm so bad at talking about anything D: )

I think the best way to get rid of the guilt is to just go out there and work for people less privileged than us. Thankfully Coldplay concerts help us do that :D (just signed up for Oxfam)

There are moments when you are so done qith this ugly world...

Aww don't feel that way :(

I know it's hard to believe sometimes with so much war and death and some elections ( :p) but the world is pretty great. For every negative act there's about a 100 unreported acts of kindness happening. I see it everyday.

There's still plenty of wonderful people around doing wonderful things. Just look at the band and all the beautiful wonderful people in the forums :D

I meant R42, didn't you talk with him?

Anyways, it still is awesome that you have met them.

Thanks for your words, @ChrisMartinFan. Sometimes it's really hard not to feel depressed when you look at the world, and I have to say that I feel while small good actions, actions of love and kindness, go a long way and are really important, many problems in the world are inherent in human nature and society and the "systems" if you will, and that those are beyond the reach of actions of kindness. You know what I mean ?

But anyway, still very happy for Indian fans to get to see Coldplay for the first time tomorrow !

Do we have any idea when (Mumbai time) Coldplay are gonna come on ?

Just wondering so as to find out when to get up to listen to it...

Same question here. Don't know what time they go perform. BUt I saw somewhere that it will be streamed on this website, let me search it...

@Nie This is heartwarming indeed <3

Here's at least something (if you haven't seen it yet). I think you'll need to download this app which is called ''Voot'' on your phone.
