Also, I want to say that I like so much the rap verses by Big Sean. He surprised me a lot!

when i first heard this song, i kept thinking about when Chris would put an apple on top of his piano during What If...

and i just pictured Chris now, so many years later, literally singing this to his kids (honestly, especially with the BTTF clip, because Moses is also a fan of that movie), going from being insecure about how he's going to be seen by others to encouraging them to be who they are and just ahfjdjsacjbuoajiweakjfe;jaioa :sob::sob:

I like how they clearly forgot they already had a song called Miracles and had to add the brackets, hahah. Very good song. On that sort of motivational, self-help vibe that came just at the right time for me.

I've enjoyed this video a bit more than usual, especially considering none of the guys are in it.

when they first announced the EP, it was called Miracles 2, so i don't think they forgot exactly. :D of course, they could have just called it Someone Special, but i think someone pointed out earlier that maybe they wanted fans to know it was the same song, just slightly changed :shrug:

This song genuinely surprised me. It's a great song, great lyrics, and Big Sean's part actually fits pretty well. I was hopeful about it despite a rap artist being on it because of Lost+ and I was not disappointed.

With every release, there's usually 1 song that I instantly get attached to after the first listen, and just keep listening to it. This is turning out to be one of those songs. I was a bit worried that Big Sean would "ruin" the song but wow, his verse really works. Anyone knows if it's going to be a single? Hope it becomes a hit.

This has nothing to do with Miracles (Someone Special ) but here it goes... a few years ago, they released ASFOS on this Rhythms Del Mundo album and I really, really want to listen to that version of the song again, the only problem is that I can't find it anywhere, it's not on Spotify, iTunes Store, YouTube or anywhere else, there used to be a page where you could buy the album or the songs individually, I bought ASFOS off of that album back in the day but my old laptop died so I don't have the downloaded song anymore... can anyone help me out with this? I really want to listen to that version of the song again, thanks in advance to any kind Coldplayer who takes pity on me :)

 

PS: I loved Miracles (Someone Special), it's one of the best 'new pop-rock era' Coldplay songs IMO.

I'm pretty sure it's a single. All the advertisements say "including Something Just Like This and Miracles (Someone Special).

this is again a very very strong number with very strong lyrics ,this reminds me what my father say to me,everybody is for me......someone special .

A pity that this song isn't receiving more press or acknowledgement. There haven't been many reviews of the EP, but those that exist mention this tracks as a surprise.

 

The more I listen, the more I enjoy Will's programmed beats and the bouncy bass. Probably one of my favorite rhythm sections in a Coldplay track and unlike anything they've ever done. Unfortunately I think it will be remembered as a lost gem in a few years.
