As the credit crunch rears it's ugly head over the Christmas period i have to sell stuff to buy folk presents. I am thinking of putting the Handpainted Artwork for X&Y i won when i bought the album on the first day of release in 2005 up for sale. Does any one have an indication as to how much it may be worth?

How many people around you ( your families, friends, colleagues? ) are crzay about Coldplay? Quite a few people here truely like Coldplay and their music. It is frustrating that I've got even no one to talk about or share the Coldplay stuff. The good things is after I kept playing their music at home, my families began to like this band. i don't know where to put this, but anyway. How do i take chris's singing off the songs? Not saying that i don't like it or anything, but last night i was playing the scientist and my player past its used by date and took the vocals out and gave the song this massively amazing echo like they were playing an empty stadium. And I realized that Will does sing like an angel:o My player's nearly carked it now and i'm so gonna miss the songs like that:embarassed: Is there a copy of any songs released without the vocals? Or is there a program I can use to take them off?

normally, when playing a song backwards, it'll sound like a mess of crap. the video i posted in the previous thread made my sister and i curious. we downloaded a program that allowed us to play Clocks backwards and not only does it sound like a damn good song, but there are some things you could deffinitely make out that Chris is saying, such as "What is this? Don't worry" and something about "It looks like they're flying":shocked2: it's actually a really pretty song, not that it's not beautiful enough forwards;) have any of you heard other "secret messages" in other songs?

Edith mentioned something about interviewing 'Will Coldplay' (as she called him :)) on radio today, and was asking for questions from listeners. I think she was saying she was going to interview him by phone about 6pm tonight but presumably not live, but I missed when it will be broadcast - did any one catch it? I tried to play it again on the iPlayer, but it's not working for me at the mo :( Did anyone else hear this? Did she mention when we get to hear the interview and did any Coldplayers text any questions in?

I remember Chris saying that Prospekt was a character he made up.I think on the song Prospekts March he said it was about Prospekt being lost and not be able to find his way home.And I was thinking and wondering if Viva La Vida(album)could be about Prospekt.Even the EP.Maybe not,but I think it would be interesting to incorporate that thought when listening to the songs.Seeing has how they always signed the blog entries as "Prospekt".It seemed as if they loved the word or character Prospekt.Maybe that has nothing to do with it.I find Prospekt(the character) to be very interesting after hearing the song Prospekts March.But what you do you guys think??

Anybody else think that the EP would have been infinitely better if Lost+ and the Osaka Sun Mix had been replaced by Lost? and Lovers in Japan (Acoustic)??
