Is it possible that someone with web design savvy can start up an online petition in support of Coldplay to show that their millions of fans are behind them and support them in every way, which we can then send to all the legal bigwigs involved in the Joe Satriani vs. Coldplay case, if and when this does go to court???????? I for one would sign this petition a million times over!!!!!! Does anyone know where and when this court case is gonna happen???? I would start one up myself, but I have a clue how to start up a website(my bad for not going to Uni!!!LOL) How about it guys???????:D:D:D:D

  4. Leading online music app last.fm has released its most popular songs, albums and artists of 2008. The rankings come from last.fm's database, based on number of listeners. The music had to be released in 2008 to qualify for the charts, reports readwriteweb.com. The Top 10 tracks is absolutely dominated by Coldplay's Viva la Vida, with 6 songs - including numbers 1 and 2. The title track was number 1, with more than three million listens in about 6 months. Coldplay also features at 5, 6, 8 and 9. This is reminiscent of the dominance of the Billboard singles chart the Beatles enjoyed in April 1964! MGMT also had multiple tracks in the top 10, with entries at numbers 3,…

I've never seen it, but I love it. But oh how lame I will be if this is not even Coldplay. THOUGH, I am pretty sure it is because it looks like them! :P

  11. 1: Mainstream rock gets a makeover The prize for silliest wardrobe goes to Coldplay, who announced their new direction by dressing like extras from Adam Ant’s ‘Prince Charming’ video. Along with Keane’s new love of pastels and Johnny Borrell’s grandma pearls, this was a sign of a sartorial crisis of confidence in rock. Suddenly, everyone wanted to appear radical, although, as far as their respective albums were concerned, the outfits were generally more adventurous than the music. The result? A space in the middle of the road filled by Kings of Leon, whose offering was reassuringly traditional: blues rock played by young men in tight trousers. 2: Africa rises Was…

  12. I know they already have Jay-Z booked for the Wembley gig, but is too late to ask also Richard Aschroft to join them...? Two reasons: - Chris Martin/ Richard Ashcroft performing together at Live 8 one of my all-time favourite songs (Bittersweet Symphony) was its highlight for me. - Chris Martin could introduce Richard as his litigation advice specialist..:)

  17. Hello everyone, I'm from Monterrey Mexico, and last saturday Oasis came to my city to a concert which, by the way, was really good for me as you can see in this video that I recorded (I was in front of them): [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luX_noG0juo&NR=1]YouTube - Oasis - Champagne Supernova @ Arena Monterrey[/ame] Buy anyways... The thing is that the concert finished and I was buying some Oasis stuff... and then I saw that they were selling some of these things (I don't know how to call them), but is the street name sign (Calle in Spanish), and they said "Oasis" but among all the Oasis "street name signs" I found a Coldplay one with the Viva La Vida cover…

Seriously. The only acoustic songs we've heard from Viva are Lost? and LIJ. Pretty disappointing. I'd love to hear what they could try to do with the Viva songs acoustic. I remember with previous albums, they'd always do some acoustic performance or what not. I mean form AROBTTH, there's acoustic performances of Politik, Clocks, In My Place, God Put a Smile On Your Face, The Scientist, Green Eyes, Warning Sign, Amsterdam Maybe even the track, AROBTTH? That's like the whole album. Parachutes IS practically acoustic. On X&Y we heard Swallowed In The Sea, Til Kingdom Come, Speed Of Sound, A Message, The Hardest Part. I dunno, maybe even more? It a…

  25. In the newest issue of Rolling Stone, December 1st 2008, there is a small article about Coldplay!! :DIt's located on page 17 and has an awesome picture of Chris and Jonny! The article made my day today, I thought you guys would want to make sure you saw it if you have the magazine cause sometimes this things get missed. Sorry I don't have any pictures of it:( I would also like to point out the horrible review Rolling Stone gave Prospekt's March! They only gave it two and half stars and said that the only good song was lost+. Can you believe that?!
