Now this is a myth. Taste is taste. Thom has not really been into guitar rock much, except his own band, since the Pixies broke up. Phil even likes Athlete, so I'm sure he's at least a Parachutes fan, and Ed loves U2 and anthemic rock n roll. I was just eating when I saw this package laying on my kitchen table with my name on it. "What can this be", I thought. Then I saw a "Music from EMI" sticker on it. "What the hell?" So I opened it and inside there was one Coldplay X&Y Album, one X&Y keyring, one X&Y rubic cube, and one promo lyrics booklet. It's awesome, but who sent me this, and why? :o

I read the most bonkers article in the standard yesterday... In Dagenham Train Stations latest attempt to clear loitering vandalising teens from the railway station, they play classical music over the tannoy as the Chavs deem it 'uncool' they also play other 'mellow' artists such as (i qoute) 'Enya, Kate Bush and amongst others even Coldplay' ????????????? ????????????? ????????????????? ???? Has Dagenham (along with the rest of the world) gone bananas? By the way people stateside, if ur unfamiliar with the saying 'Chav' http://www.chavscum.com should enlighten you. Happy weekend!

Maybe a waste of space but where is the love for this incredible album. As I sit here after hearing this album for who knows how many times through, I cannot get over its epicity. Please come here to rave, oooh and ahhh over this work of beauty. I've played this album now for 4 other fans all of whom had their jaws fall on the floor as we wasted away on the rich sweet waves of Coldplay. This stuff is soo fucking good, a playable album all the way through, as good as parachutes and arobtth. Oh Coldplay I am undeserving of such glorious music. Thank god for this album, thank god for this band thank god for X&Y :D

...from past Coldplay music: HAVE YOU LISTENED TO ANY OF THE MUSIC? I've been listening to X&Y pretty much non-stop since i got it, and now just for some fun I jumped back to some Parachutes and AROBTTH stuff to hear the difference. Still definitely Coldplay, but they 3 albums certainly differ a lot in style and sound. Damn critics ;)

Today i bought The Sun to find that the Bizarre section is completely devoted to Coldplay. Has anybody bought it? if so, what do u think about the comments that The Sun makes on 'the invisible bandmates' ?? Apparently...... yesterday, 105 X&Y albums where sold PER MINUTE!!! compared to Geri Halliwells 1 copy a minute hahah!! official first day sales stood at 151,000 due to rise over 500,000 by saturday.

Hey were any of you ever made fun of for liking Coldplay before they became one of the biggest bands in the world? I know I was, being one of the only people who realized how great Coldplay was from hearing parachutes. I remember people at school teasing me because I was wearing a Coldplay T-shirt. Then I was really made fun of for driving to another state for 10 hours just to see them live (Which by the way was the best night of my life).
