Coldplay

Hi does anyone know what the new fantastic 'white shadow' song is all about ? thanks.

i always knew coldplay's 'sceintist' guitar sounded like NIN's 'hurt' like exactly...then last night i see a coldplay concert on 'musicplus' and at the end of the scientist he sings last verse of 'Hurt' is NIN credited on Album or does Coldplay get so much backlash from song that Martins being a smast ass?

I was looking at the billboard top 200 albums and I didnt even see coldplay on it!

Both had HUGE expectations Both had GLOWING initial reviews Both albums had EVERY song written as an epic Both albums are OVERLY long Both albums are WAY over-produced Both albums were overly SAFE and boring Both albums FLOPPED (just wait for X&Y to sell less than half of what AROBTTH did) Both albums caused a massive BACKLASH against each band (wait for it in Coldplays case) The only difference between the two albums is that Be Here Now is listenable and quite good in parts. X&Y is music for grannies. Thems are just the facts. honestly---I wanted so much from this album----but it is absolute SHITE :(

Do Guy, Jonny or Will have girlfriends they mention? Just curious :) I knew they had girlfriends before, just wondering if that is still true.

Ok so X+Y is dedicated to BWP thats Bruce Paltrow...Gwyneth's dad who passed away a while back.......but did u know that he wrote and directed a tv show in 1978 called The White Shadow?! I just thought that was interesting....

You know you have arrived when the critics are everywhere--slamming you, complaining about this and that, trying to knock you off of a pedastal. Too bad dudes, Coldplay does not sit on pedastals. Tearing apart a band that people genuinely like is similar to the don't hate me because i'm beautiful adage. The playerhaters are out in massive numbers because simply put-- Coldplay has arrived AGAIN. So just sit back and enjoy the music and be greatful it isn't another bubble gum rap artist or a pop princess. It is music, real music. Let the record sales tell the story!

I got two tickets for the charlotte gig on sept 9th at Verizon wireless amphitheater. However, I was able to get closer seats than the ones I already had. I searched for a topic like this one in the search engine, but couldn't find anything. So MySpace.com is giving away tickets for the American shows. I am pretty sure you have to live in America as well. You must have a MySpace account, the account is free. You have too add Coldplay as a friend. Then You wait for them to add you back. Hey were any of you ever made fun of for liking Coldplay before they became one of the biggest bands in the world? I know I was, being one of the only people who realized how great Coldplay was from hearing parachutes. I remember people at school teasing me because I was wearing a Coldplay T-shirt.
