Arcade Fire

They don't have to sell it. :sneaky: I think that the people who always leak albums on torrent sites probably work in record stores.

It'll be shocking if it doesn't leak by Friday. And then let's have a little listening party! :wacky: (Costumes or formal attire mandatory.)

Yep. I discovered them thanks to Chris mentioning them in X&Y era interviews as an influence (or notably in Toronto 2006 "God gave you style and led you higher/God gave you the music of the Arcade

Yeah I got into Coldplay first and then slowly started getting into Arcade Fire. Once I started to realize their similarities and that Coldplay toured with them during the LVL era, it made me become a

Yeah, I followed a path similar to yours. I am a big fan of VLV and MX (the "midplay" era, ahah) and when I discovered that Coldplay mentioned several times AF as an influence during that period, I st

I'm hoping the album lives up to the hype. I'm not feeling the news songs but Reflektor's kinda grown on me. Kinda.

I have a feeling a lot of Arcade Fire fans won't like this album. It'll probably be their most divisive LP. On the surface, these songs are a bit more light-hearted than what most fans would want, but if you dig deeper the true beauty of these songs really begin to show.

Reflektor has leaked.

.....

Haha yeah listening now, Loving Awful Sound and Supersymmetry so far, but it's Arcade Fire so the other songs will be on the rise in the coming weeks just to become my favourites.

Okay so today I started listening to Arcade Fire, I'm listening the Funeral, Rebellion Lies was the only song the I already knew before listening to it but I really like the album.

I will listen to Neon Bible and The Suburbs in the next hours

Such pretty.

It's on "the most famous torrent site" and it's the real deal :dazzled: but it's only been uploaded to 35% at the moment.

Edit: Over 50% now. It's not a great rip (vinyl or something) but it sounds OK. LOTS of bass. :drunk:

listening to random new songs posted on tumblr. i like it for the most part so far. only song i dont like is flashbulb eyes but didnt care for it live anyway.

anxious to hear supers

everyones commenting on how beautiful it is

i absolutely adored the live version and cant wait

awful sound it's never over and you already know are really awesome

still trying to find porno supers official hctnt pt 1 and joan of arc

I want to listen to this so badly but shit I have too much to study today :bomb:

^Blame Clash Music and DiS for the Metacritic score

Also guys, have you noticed the hidden pregrap track? :awesome: (track 00)

Well my "review" won't be that positive too. :P

If you can wait till the iTunes/CD rip great! You honestly aren't missing much if you've been listening to the live songs.

What do you mean? In Reflektor (the song)?

Apparently on the leaked CD version there's a hidden track before Reflektor which is like a reflection of the whole album.

I haven't heard it yet, trying to find a file that features it.

EDIT: Found it.

Oh. I don't have that. And I thought that was part of Supersymmetry. Are you sure it's a CD rip? (Send me the link if it is please.)

My simple review

We Exist: Didnt ever care for this one! Was my least favorite on the HCTNT special on NBC. It's a grower but it's too bland to me.

Flashbulb Eyes: HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! BY FAR WORST SONG ON ALBUM!

Here Comes The Night Time: Love the live version but I feel like parts of the studio version come out a little flat! Still like it though!

Normal Person: Again the live version on HCTNT was amazing and powerful yet seems very flat here! Still like it though!

You Already Know: One of my favorites! Starts off hilarious AHKADE FIRAAAA!

Joan of Arc: Found myself skipping this one constantly! I dont know what it is probably just confused about the review saying it sounds like the tardis. That alone got me excited.

Here Comes The Part Time Pt 2: Very simple and reminds me of Sprawl from the Suburbs.

Awful Sound: Easily the best song off the album. It sucks you in immediately and all you can do is nod along with Win.

It's Never Over: Liked the live version but was curious for good quality studio version and wasnt disappointed. Both AS and INO really grab your attention and dont let go!

Porno: Dont get the hate on this song! Is it my favorite? No! But I like the vibe!

Supersymmetry: Another favorite of mine! It's absolutely stunning from beginning to end. One of the most beautiful songs AF has ever made.

ill give it a 6.5 out of 10

luckily got that cause im a bit disappointed
