Oh fuck okay, I tried to remember the melody but ... it's not as catchy as VIVA I fear, otherwise I WOULD FUCKEN REMEMBER. It's awesome though

Aw damn everybody says it's a dance song, you got half the fandom divided, but everybody says it's brilliant!!! Very interesting track!

"Maybe the best rap song of all time and our whole band at the moment is obsessed with hip hop"

I'm sad. We've wait more than an Hour after the Show for the tourbus. Nobody was there. :/

Just got home! What an amazing night it was! And I just can't stop thinking about A Sky Full Of Stars because it was so amazing!

Man oceans is just beautiful , this performance of it today is vocally so good . I just love this song !

Just got home from Cologne! It was my first intimate Coldplay gig and i realy loved it!!!

I could not make it early to the E-Werk so i was their aroud 7.40pm. We had a good view on the left side of the stage, i think we were four or five meters from the stage. I really loved to hear the new GS songs and i think the band enjoyed the atmosphere in the E-Werk. After ETIAW Chris said that the radio recording was over and he said: 'now it's just we and you 2000 peoople' (or something like that :P ) Chris asked us to stop filming and said that they gona play some older tracks and after that they gona give us something really special. They played GPASUYF and The Scientist afther that Chris asked again to not filming and not to put it on Youtube. Then they start playing A Sky Full Of Stars. That was really really the highlight of the evening for me! The first new song for me to hear and i must say, its really the bomb! I can't wait to hear the song againg and again. During the song i looked around me and i saw three or four people filming the song... That made my a little bit angry. Not really a way to show your respect and love to Coldplay if you ask me. The show was over in no time but i really really liked it! I think i can say this was the best show of all my seven shows so far!

After the show i saw a security guy (i think) with the setlist and asked him friendly to give it to me but i was only able to take a picture of it :P. A few second later i saw Phil Harvey walking in the backstage! I also took a few pictures with my phone, not the best quality but i want to share them with you.

I hope you all enjoyed the gig on the radio or in Cologne!

Thanks for the review. Too bad ppl were recording, but I still would love to hear it lol

Hmmm some people were recording it eh?

Maybe it'll find its way to the internet

Quick review...

First of all, thanks to *Becky*, Batman and all the others (no idea what your names are, sorry) without you i wouldn't have been standing in the 3. row. :D

The set was about 75-80 mins. long. From 21:03 till 22:00 they played the "radioshow". They left the stage, came back a few moments later and chris said something like "the official radio part is over, now its just us and we are gonna play some more older songs for you and a new song we have never played but you can't record that and put it on youtube, please don't record it, this is just for us 1004 people in here"

In the second "private" part of the show they played GPASOYF, Scientist and A Sky Full Of Stars. They were really enjoying GPASOYF, you could see it in their faces, it was probably the song they had the most fun playing tonight. And the fans loved it too.

The last song was A Sky Full Of Stars after Chris mentioned again how important it is not record anything and put in youtube or somewhere. He said it like 3 times.

I don't think i have to write about the radio part of the show because you probably listened to it. And i'm not good writing those reviews especially not at 2am. :D

Just one more thing - I just love Midnight live, it was the best song at SXSW iTunes Festival and it was great today.

The stage was great, paper stars were hanging from the ceiling and 2 trees framed the hole thing (you can obviously see it in the pictures) and they had confetti during ETIAW and star shaped confetti during A Sky Full Of Stars.

EDIT: Oh yeah forgot about that. You can buy great shirts and sweaters. They look great and are real special since there only will be 6 shows.

Awesome review!! Makes me a little annoyed people were filming though :(

But glad to hear you had a great night!

It was more or less the version from the MX-tour, a bit toned down as they did not have the full equipment (read POWER) ;)

Just got home, will post my pics tomorrow - if I have the time. Great night!

To all who were there at the hall from midday - just looked at the live blog - how could we miss Miller taking that picture???

Just came back from the Show. And man, it was realy awesome :)

We came in a little late.. about 8 pm. But still got a pretty decent place in the middle of the building.

I loved the concert, especially Midnight, Anothers Arms and ASFOS. Chris and co. are realy awesome at entertaining their audiance!

the whole atmosphere was stunning and i was pretty surprised how great everybody was singing along.

Cant wait for their next concert in Germany! I will be there :laugh3:

Oh and i forgot to mention: I realy loved the confetti rain :D The last time i visited their concert (In Frankfurt.. MX Tour) it consisted of litte M and X Butterflys. Now they have simple colorful circles, but it still fits the music perfectly :) :smug:

And the little Stars are adorable!

They really need to work in some X&Y songs other than Fix You.

That would make it so much more awesome.

I wouldn't mind replacing paradise by A Message or basically anything from X&Y

That would be great! As well as Politik. Hopefully they'll do a proper tour next year will full-length sets where they can play more than just hits and the new songs.
