April 28, 201511 yr Lucky girl! It's all so very exciting!!!! [emoji322][emoji323] I wonder if we will get a sneaky little sample...anything.....[emoji8][emoji16] I believe the album's almost complete. :D
April 28, 201511 yr Oops I apologize if I rustled anyone's jimmies. I haven't listened to Politik in ages, so my memory is a bit rusty... And I guess I'm anxious for LP7 haha it's okay, i'm anxious too :D
April 28, 201511 yr He wasn't a very nice old man then was he..[emoji69]...lol...you are cheeky!!!! [emoji112][emoji112][emoji112] All in good jest :p
April 28, 201511 yr Ok guys, name one title you think is the best fit for the album. I'll guess one. 'Apple & Moses' :P
April 28, 201511 yr If it is the end of a chapter. I think it could be called The Chapter. Or maybe. Chapter 7
April 28, 201511 yr Or it could be about Unbroken - Chris's separation with Gwyneth but will be forever together as a family.
April 28, 201511 yr one of the beauties of coldplay's music is it's universality. and usually the lyrics are just ambiguous enough for the listener to make their own interpretation. i'm looking forward to more of those since for me, trying in a way to be more explicit in GS didn't pan out that well (before GS, i was looking for more explicit lyrics, strange how that worked out huh?) and let's not forget, they are a band after all :) anyway, i think we might get a celebratory record with themes of hope, love, resilience. if they did write that happy song, looking forward to hearing that as well. hope they would take more of a non-generic route to creating soundscapes.
April 28, 201511 yr Chris needs to write more perplexing and mysterious lyrics. Or just have a proof reader to cross out the cliches, instantly better lyrics.
April 28, 201511 yr I think that The Race and Tomorrow will be in A Head Full of Dreams. I feel a lot of the scrapped MX songs might make it to LP7. They seemed very different from the rest of the album -- and we all know how Coldplay loves to rework old material.

Yes it is actually. The ability to connect with their listeners is the band's best gift besides the actual music of course.
April 29, 201511 yr Hey, I was just wondering about this tweet that was on the Coldplay Atlas twitter page: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Out with clients today, trust <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/chrismartin?src=hash">#chrismartin</a> to be late! <a href="https://twitter.com/coldplay">@coldplay</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/paradiselondon?src=hash">#paradiselondon</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/coldplay?src=hash">#coldplay</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/london?src=hash">#london</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/design?src=hash">#design</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/agency?src=hash">#agency</a> <a href="http://t.co/ijlP79oFAV">pic.twitter.com/ijlP79oFAV</a></p>— Paradise London (@ParadiseLDN) <a href="https://twitter.com/ParadiseLDN/status/592782449337311234">April 27, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> So Paradise London seems to be a design agency, and they were "out with a client" - Chris Martin? Could this mean that Coldplay has enough material to go ahead with designing album covers/music videos (for the first single)? I don't know if I'm anywhere close to reality with this idea, but what do you guys think?
April 29, 201511 yr Okay sorry, I was trying to embed the tweet..but anyway, here's the link. I'm sure most of you know which one I'm talking about anyway..
April 29, 201511 yr so mila who did the artwork for GS was working with the band at least since early 2013 and the record was released in May 2014. so who knows.
April 29, 201511 yr Really don't know how I'm feeling about AHFOD, an eclectic and ambitious mix of styles united in optimism and grandeur would be stunning - on the other hand another bland pop album with cliched lyrics and chartist tendencies would send Coldplay into the complete mediocrity they've threatened with lp's 5 and 6. I have a feeling this could end up being seen as a pivotal record in Coldplay's career. (Also at this point I love 3 albums and don't really like 3, so this is the decider )

I'm not in a good mood so I shouldn't be posting.
April 29, 201511 yr Not to be a dick, but you say this at least once a week. Lol I know I'm worried

April 30, 201511 yr How can you say that LP6 had chart tendencies? The only radio friendly songs were Magic and ASFOS and radio didn't even welcome Magic. 80% of the album was your "old Coldplay" mixed with some electronic experimentation. AHFOD will be uptempo (my guess is a blend of Charlie Brown, Viva La Vida and probably some e-drums but not very EDM like ASFOS) which is what radio and the general public prefer and that's the sound arena bands like Coldplay like to play live. There is a reason Mumford & Sons has ditched their bluegrass sound to sound more like Coldplay.
April 30, 201511 yr I feel a lot of the scrapped MX songs might make it to LP7. They seemed very different from the rest of the album -- and we all know how Coldplay loves to rework old material. I don't think so just because Chris is in a different mental state. He probably doesn't feel those lyrics anymore. Maybe some of the scrapped instrumentals will be reused by that's still very unlikely. Anyway, everything they've done since Parachutes has lead to this album.

I liked their original sound too though as well.
