Well I don't know how many times I have to say this but the album is not finished, it's not officially revealed OR announced and it's certainly not going to be released any time soon.

 

If we liken Coldplay's discography to Germany's history, MX was their Hitler. So it's only natural that people will always come back to discuss it. But all discussions as of now is pointless. I guess people just want to keep busy while waiting.

I will never understand why people hate MX so much ! It's a good album and the era was fantastic...

I have the feeling that the band is really nostalgic about this period and want to relive it with AHFOD

Hopefully the album will not be a bland copy of MX

To be honest i don't think they will just release the album outta nowhere...it wouldnt be fun without some teasing and of course the release of the first single first.Audio or MV,letting a single out soon would be best

Yes that became a rumour yesterday,I can't go much longer without hearing any new songs from them.

I hope you're right. But I don't think they will release anything for at least a month or so. I know they won't release anything this week. If they did, that would be so pointless because they would have missed a chance to play it last week at the iheartradio festival. Why wait an extra week? The only reason I can think of is because they want to play it at the Global Citizens Festival. Maybe they had that planed all along and the iheartradio festival was just a warm up? Also used to tease us with new outfits. Who knows, but I'm not expecting anything til we get an official announcement, or some teasing. We know something is coming soon cause of the video shoot. So I would say mid October or around there. Until then, we continue to speculate about each passing Monday and Friday, until we have eventually driven ourselves crazy. And as for the setlist for the GCF this Saturday, I expect nothing but hits. Probably gonna be the same set actually. Better to not get our hopes up again.

This was true 4 months ago...The point is that if you're just going day by day saying it could happen tmr, you're gonna go crazy

I would like to disagree with people here who says POC is so mainstream. aside from Rihanna, the rest of POC does not sound like anything else in the mainstream. In fact i have not heard any other song that sounds like POC.

Totally disagree there ! One of their best in my opinion. So much raw emotion in one song and I like the melody.

You all know how much I dislike MX but honestly, comparisons to German history and Hitler (or by the way Mussolini, I don't think this is a great improvement for a comparison) are really tasteless and inappropriate. I hate it when comparisons to the Nazi era are taken so lightly.
