Remember: it's supposedly only the pace that is the same as Violet Hill. That doesn't say anything about the style. It could be a Reggaeton collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Pitbull having the same pace as VH.

Looking at the releases for November you are going to have Justin Bieber , One Direction , Little Mix , Elle Goulding and maybe even Adele all with new album's. Just seems like a lot to me. I would rather see Coldplay release new music and get the attention it deserves , and not be overshadowed by other mainstream artists.

Who are those middle two artists? I have doubts they could top Adele sales or critical acclaim wise. But how could the media forget them? They seem pretty polarizing, people often love them or can't stand them. Which is weird considering how inoffensive both they themselves and their music are. :thinking:

I wish Coldplay will enhance their next album by offering a higher resolution Blu-Ray option with a 5.1 mix like a few other artists do with their albums. To hear a more spacial mix of their album would be a nice treat. Many mixing engineers and producers are very talented in not allowing it to be too gimmicky but very tasteful and enjoyable.

Oh yeah, that God awful train wreck. You know, I was actually going to buy that until I heard the official version. Now I won't be. I will instead be downloading the live version, where Chris sings the entire song, even though the quality isn't the best. Great job Avicii, just lost a sale. And I'm sure others will do the same as well. It really aggravates me that he has Chris Martin come in and help him and do vocals, and then he cans more than half of them. It wouldn't hurt to release an alternate version, that way he still makes money. Same goes for Heaven. Just release the demo version, so people can buy it. I was listening to that version last night and Chris' vocals fit it so well. Simon Aldred isn't bad, but Chris is so much better. Sorry to go a little off topic, but I have been waiting for Avicii's album since I heard Chris was in a track last September. Now it's here, and I am really disappointed. I could really use that new single right now Coldplay.

Another week without news from the Coldplay camp. I still believe that there will be a tease via social media or the official webpage before the actual single is released. But I am speculating...

As Rik Simpson said it comes longer then we want to wait but sooner then we expect im expecting single by mid October and perhaps the album release in December.
