September 7, 201510 yr A Rush of Blood to the Head Politik must win!!! It's everything amazing about Coldplay put into a single song... to me it's the perfect Coldplay song. It deserves to be number one... 'cause one is best!
September 7, 201510 yr I'll vote for Politik to go out. A Rush Of Blood To The Head is pure lyrical genius I think. Probably the best set of lyrics in a Coldplay song, "I'm gonna buy a gun and start a war, if you can tell me something worth fighting for", not to mention very haunting and atmospheric. Politik is a fantastic song obviously but AROBTTH is a special special song :)

September 7, 201510 yr Two worthy finalists. Don't quote me on this... but I'm going to say these two songs are Coldplay's best work. It's very hard to separate them, but I'm going to vote Politik. AROBTTH is a lyrical masterpiece with its jingoistic and militaristic lyrics. I love the way it starts out slow and quiet, then builds to an epic crescendo with Jonny's guitar snarling and spitting. AROBTTH has a certain venom to it that Politik (The studio version anyway) doesn't have.
