X Marks The Spot [HIDDEN TRACK]

Featured Replies

Interesting. This means UP&UP is going to be ridiculously long... It seems strange to have a hidden track here, however. If UP&UP ends the same way it did last night at Tidal, with that wailing guitar and piano (and I would guess horns on the album) then I feel like an additional track ruins that fantastic, moving finale...especially a vocoder over a looped drumbeat hahaha

Till Kingdom Come also ruins the perfect end to X&Y that is Twisted Logic to me...

I can't understand it up&up is so long with the hidden track it can be about 10 minutes. So i think it will be a short song like parachutes or now my feet wont touch the ground am i right

Coldplayzone.it just reported that this track is not hidden at the end of the album, but after Army of One, a song that lasts 3 minutes and 24 seconds.

it's nowhere nearly as out there as i pictured it after reading that article on it :laugh3: looking forward to hearing this!

I have to admit, the snippet exceeded my expectations

:surprised: Really? Did you catch any of the lyrics?

something along the lines of "know what i've got/ x marks the spot"

the not so hidden track

all I could identify was Chris singing like in PoC with a lot of ambient noises and a R&B/rap beat

something along the lines of "know what i've got/ x marks the spot"

Hmm, interesting. Thanks!

Also, what's the point of a hidden track if they announce it to the world

I like it! Sounds a lot like something straight out of a Kid Cudi album

This sounds so much better than what I was expecting!

I'm going to hold off on listening to this snippet. I would rather keep the song a mystery until I hear the full album. It is supposed to be hidden, after all. ;)

Am I the only one who thinks that it sounds very similar to Swimming Pools by Kendrick Lamar?

^ definitely... Also a little bit good night travel well by the killers

Officially the most lit Coldplay song... Not best by any means, but definitely the most lit

song is absolute dirt, i actually found it offensive. Still though album overall is pretty dope, some exceedingly sound songs on it. Go coldplay!!!!!!!!1
