I like the keyboard sound in the back at the piano part before the solo. Amazing song. I guess i'm dead. Too much blurriness in the mix here, weird and slurry effects on Chris's vocals, the epic piano and guitar get drowned in a blurry haze of noise and strings/synths. The "live recording" interjections from Chris (go, J, the counting) also don't quite go with the atmospheric effect, and as has been said before another abrupt ending similar to Birds. I get that this effect was done on purpose to create a dream-like atmosphere, but I wish they had put the guitar and piano in higher in the mix. Why bury the best parts in a downpour of noise ? Although, it'll take a lot for them to have a song that reaches beyond Hypnotized for me personally. A decent song anyway, but nothing special, quite generic, I feel it's trying to be bigger than it really is.
