Exactly the same here. I spent so much money with this band that I feel it allows me to listen everything early ?

I've always listened to leaks! My philosophy is this: If I get hit by a bus the day before the album drops, I don't want to miss the opportunity. Plus others listen the leaks so it's not like I'm missing out on the shared moment & discussion. I specifically remember listening to GS on a Tuesday before it came out, then AHFOD on the day  after Thanksgiving in 2015 while I was running errands. I listened to EL a think on the Wednesday before it dropped early in the morning as the sun rose, which was magical. I don't recall if MX leaked, but like MOTS we'd heard like half the album by then...

Edit: And yes, I guess it's technically stealing BUT I do end up buying/streaming these songs a thousand times and delete the leak as soon as the album's out.

One question with this, what time, normally, do you recive the products that are in pre order in coldplay store?

 

I probably would listen to the leaks - they're super-rich, so I don't care about ethics - but since leaks get shot down here incredibly quickly and I don't know where else to find them, I'll just settle for listening to it at the intended time on my pre-ordered CD.

I am anti leak just because it doesn’t seem to be what the band intends for how we enjoy the music. I listened to Overtura (many times), the released songs, and Human Heart since the band seems to want that for us. 
 

Am also curious when preorders arrive. I ordered the autographed CD but normally I always buy through a local record store so I’m not used to this!

PSA Coldplay have announced The Atmospheres, an immersive journey through the Spheres to celebrate the launch of the new album, to be held in several cities on the 15th and 16th. You’re not supposed to be able to book a slot until tomorrow (the 8th); but strangely, I just succeeded and have a confirmed slot at 2pm on the Friday in London! Guys do you think the tour will be affected by any restrictions because of the pandemic? I've never seen Coldplay live and I'm just waiting for them to set the dates to buy a ticket, but I was wondering if the experience will be the same as always i.e. sold out stadiums packed with people. I would be disappointed if my first time seeing them live will be a stripped down version of what it usually is.

The tour will probably start in mid/late 2022, so most restrictions are likely to be gone by the time.

I think it has a good reception in the fandom, as Coloratura.

At this point, I'm confused about what constitutes a single 2021 since artists are constantly dropping songs leading up to albums, but I assume so far Higher Power and My Universe are promotional singles while Coloratura is just an album track.

So with that in mind, I think Let Somebody Go HAS to be the next single since it features Selena Gomez. Perhaps once My Universe starts dipping in the charts, they could release it as another shot at hitting #1. Maybe a few weeks after the album is out they'll put out a video or some way of promoting it.

I think with Selena as a featuring artist a Billboard #1 is not as much of a given as it was with BTS. Her album sales seem to be a lot stronger than her singles.

But I think Selena has been quite successful in the latin music industry lately? It looks like that could be Coldplay's new target after BTS helped them chart in the US/CA/Asia.

On that list that they published on social media a while ago Chris also promoted J Balvin. Maybe that's another upcoming collab too. 

 

I thinkt that they have show all the collaborations of this album.

Let Somebody Go will be single, its clear. But I suposse that we will have at leats a 4 singles in this album, so maybe People of the Pride (which have other target different) could be. Some singles are released before the LP.

I’m hoping Humankind makes single.

Cackling at these two reaching the same milestone in the same day, one didn't charted in the Hot 100 while the other went straight to the top.

Higher Power and MU don’t feel like promo singles at all, they’re definitely the first two main singles.

I think Viva and fix you from their Berlin show are my favourite performances so far this era. The crowd seemed super engaged and the band looked SO excited. Really fun to watch!

Is there many people lurking around here (like myself) or this time there is less anticipation for the imminent release of a new album?
