Attention to this post from the Coldplay timeline. It talks about the construction of a solar system, curiously it is the MOTS poster. Does it have something to do with FFTF2024? I say it for the 2 of the 4 (April). Also curiously, this year April 2 is a Friday. Do you think it's a coincidence or could it be a possible release date for the album?

Usually how long has it been between the trademark being accepted and the release of the album?

I'd like this to be made veeeery clear. Does @Shiver98 mean, that R42 was given a task about Solar System creation in 2010 (!), 9 years before the result of the task appeared in the EL booklet? Did I get this right?

I mean, what could be considered a solar system appears in the brochure. Not that solar systems are the same

Oh sorry... :P now I got your point! What if Roadie42 came up with the idea of MOTS? Remember how that idea was floating around when Brian Eno was working with the band? That idea was mentioned on the Roadie book (I know Miller wasn't the autor tho...)

nothing happens ?  maybe that idea can happen. if i remember correctly brian eno was in the new U.F.O registry

By looking at all the classes and their description / tags, i'd assume just merchandise. Since it has been rumoured that MOTS might be MX2.0, maybe they want to continue the comic, or use parts of that for new merch designs.

I... never thought that Matthew Miller might have anything to do with Music of the Spheres. And I read all his old posts on the Coldplay Timeline just a few weeks ago but I didn't catch this. Well, as I've said time and time again, it's not like this band hasn't planned things out years in advance. It's not like they haven't revisited songs that they shelved years ago. Maybe this had something to do with Music of the Spheres. Or maybe not.

And this pretty much confirms that the band came up with the name Music of the Spheres no later than 2018.

But anyways, as for the Mylo trademark... it makes me think that there's something related to Mylo Xyloto on LP9 and it's significant enough to be put on merchandise. Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that Mylo Xyloto will turn 10 years old in October. Or both.

I managed to find another trademark they applied for, according to this website around the same time as they applied for Music of the Spheres and MYLO, all december 2020.

This one is interesting. The post from the timeline took place in 2010. This time was the VIVA era! 

So my read of the copyright situation is this: 

It seems like Music of the Spheres, like Los Unidades, is specifically for releasing music (audio recording). 

MYLO and VIVA DEPORTES, on the other hand, seem to be brands/logos that could be put on physical materials -- shirts, handbags, bracelets etc. I don't think this signifies MX2 or anything Viva related. I instead think it could be part of a roll out of new merch or reissues the band wants to sell in their shop or do in partnership with other orgs. 

Oct. 19 2021 will be the 10th Anniversary of MX, so maybe they're celebrating with a re-release of the album featuring unreleased tracks or demos? Or maybe just some merchandise that says "MYLO" will be incorporatd in their next tour. One theory I liked was that Viva Deportes could be related to World Cup or Olympics -- maybe Coldplay has been asked to do a song or set of songs with artists across the world to celebrate.

on the trademarks.ipo.gov.uk website, it does list some things like clothing, footwear, headgear, as well as things like live performance, flyers, magazines, and the very general Entertainment.

Just a thought about MYLO, maybe they're going to be using the xylobands again, or they're going to be rebranded?

I don't really see them doing that, as they haven't done it with any other album.

Idk it just fascinates me that Mylo is getting applied for trademark, Rescue St was discovered on an acoustic guitar last year, UATW will be getting its new version released, U F O was reregistered and hinted by Chris at “not being out yet”. Pair that information with this picture and some wild theories start to form:

 

If the "finished" UATW ends up being released, then I really hope they incorporate the "silver bird" verse that Chris started singing during the AHFOD era. It was already my favorite song off of MX, but that verse just went made it even more beautiful.

He mentioned the finished version of UATW on that Instagram live past year, so I'm sure he wasn't talking about this obscure release of the song being played live.

That livestream certainly was after they released it on Amazon.

Oh right -- I forgot he mentioned it during the Instagram. BRING IT FORTH!

This and more comes in the Mylo Xyloto pop-up edition. I have it and it's such a great book, full of notes about the process involved on making Mylo Xyloto, and a section at the end, called "excerpts from Chris' notebook" shows all these pages and notes from him. They have a lot of easter eggs! :P
