Eventually, the new cd will finally come out, and Coldplay will do some kind of tour. My question/discussion: what do you think will be on the setlist for that tour. I figure about 7-9 songs from the new album, and then 10-13 from other cds, which has been the case for this past year. I'll say 8 new songs and then... Clocks Viva La Vida Fix You The Scientist In My Place Violet Hill Yellow Politik Speed Of Sound The Hardest Part Lost Lovers In Japan 42 Obviously some songs will rotate in and out, but I think the core will revolve around those. What do you think? What songs make the cut?

08:30 Ian was already in the queue at this point, and had been there for about an hour, Some of the girls were with him. I was at home with a cup of tea monitoring Twitter. Today's weather is looking the same so far :)

I know it's a bit early to think of a tour but... I've read in some music blog that besides from releasing LP5, the guys are going on tour by the end of the year, starting in Madrid, Spain? Anyone heard/read of it before? :stunned:

I know it is a bit outdated. But for the audiences, maybe it is a "once-in-life" experience and it is always like just Yesterday~ I want to share a few photos/clips of the only live I saw in Kansas City, MO, 2005. Awsome autumn day, cool wind and mind, as cool as you want to fly with the cloud, beautiful sunset, exiciting/"united" crowd, crazy teenagers with Coldplay. You can still feel the heartbeat and breath-taking sing-along moment. For my favorite Fix You/Scientist and also for yours. Enjoy~ [Quicktime Player] http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/3/2/1791839/FixYou1_Coldplay_2005Fall.MOV http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/3/2/1791839/FixYou2_Coldplay_2005Fall.MOV ht…

We were spoiled for almost two years with daily concert reviews, set lists, pictures, etc. As we go through this time period between tours, I'd be interested to hear what songs you think would be good choices as "alternate versions" for the B/C stages for the next tour. Last time we had The Hardest Part and the Talk/GPASUYF remix. What do you think would be a good acoustic or remixed song? Not sure they would want to do the whole confetti thing again, if not, I think Lovers in Japan would be great acoustic.

I have watched the tour diary on the Live 2003 DVD a lot of times and a thought came to my mind. Are/were anyone of you visible in the tour diary or at the concert? In case you are, at what point of the video and where? :nice: I'll start! I'm not in it. I was twelve and stupid, didn't listen to Coldplay at the time (I don't think I listened to any music at all at that time, well maybe t.A.T.u) and did I mention I was stupid? Your turn!

I went to see Coldplay at one show (wouldve gone to three more but I could only afford one at the time), and I had my ticket nine months in advance of the show. When I bought my ticket front row seats were STILL not available, yet after I bought my ticket some of frontmost seats were cleared up - If I want front row seats next time or to be in the pit, when would the best time be to buy those seats?

It's been 7 years since Coldplay's last official DVD - and I haven't heard any news what's happening with their Viva Tour DVD? (I've heard lots of rumours that they were waiting for the Latin part of the tour before completing it - but that was several months ago now) Does anyone know if/when a Viva DVD is being released?

Blur's headlining show at last year's Glastonbury Festival has been named the best performance at the music event in the past 40 years, as voted for by BBC 6 Music radio listeners. Blur's headlining slot at Glastonbury last year has been voted the best performance at the festival in 40 years. BBC 6 Music radio presenter Lauren Laverne revealed the British indie group - which consists of Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree - took first place for their 2009 reunion show. The poll - which was voted for by listeners of the British radio station - felt the group's performance was better than Coldplay's 2000 set and Pulp's 1995 show. Radiohead cam…

It's very depressing that this is the end of the Viva era.. It was special in many ways. I was lucky enough to go to 3 Viva shows and each one was special in it's own way. Seeing Coldplay live isn't like seeing other bands live. The way the VIVA shows made you feel is something people need to experience at least once in your lifetime. I feel bad for anyone (including non-coldplay fans) that missed out on the opportunity to see Coldplay perform their Viva show. After the X&Y tour I said to myself "Man it sucks that's its over but I'm sure Coldplay will come back with a even better album and better tour!" I was right! But I feel different now..I'm now thinking "w…

BONO busting his back is bad news for him - but not necessarily for the crowds at Glastonbury. DIZZEE RASCAL has been asked to step up to the plate if the U2 frontman is not well enough to honour his band's Friday night headlining slot on June 25. Organiser MICHAEL EAVIS has also put in a call to COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN to see if the lads are available. They are back in the studio after their Viva La Vida world tour but are weighing up the logistics of playing Glasto. I can't help feeling it could be a blessing in disguise if grime star Dizzee, who currently comes before U2 on the Friday night bill, gets to close the evening. The rapper - who ripped off his…

Hi there, I'm posting on behalf of the Coldplay act Viva la Coldplay. We are doing a show at the Horns in Watford on the Thursday 20th May and would love it if some of you came along. The details of the gig can be found on this page > http://www.lemonrock.com/horns?page=gigs&month=1 We'll be starting at 9PM and it costs £10 to get in (£8 if you book in advance). It's a renowned venue with a great sound and is only a short walk from both Watford High St. and Watford Junction. I know alot of people are very sceptical about the idea of a tribute act, but we're not really impersonators or imposters of anything like that. We do our bit with the same stage set-u…

OK, so I'm *HOPING* Coldplay will be back here in the US next summer - if not next, then the one after - and I'm thinking of maybe doing a roadtrip/vacation, and then seeing a few different shows along the way. So my question is, where do you guys think the best city to see a CP show would be?! Also - this might seem like a dumb question - but how do you get tickets for the pit? I went on the presale for the Raleigh concert right when it started but the best seats I could get were about 20ish rows back :(

Hello im a fan of Coldplay just graduating out of Broadcast/Film so I used what i've learned and applied some Coldplay to it and this is what I got. These are two edits that I did of the Viva La Vida Tour its a mix of live footage from youtube and my own personal footage from the Toronto July 30 2009 and Wembley Sept 18/19 2009 shows. All the footage used was filmed in High Definition to give you the best quality possible. After going to these amazing shows I really wanted to show people what the Live Coldplay experience is like. Please have a look and leave a comment if you wish. Thanks for your time - Marcos :) Intro - In My Place - Rogers Center, Toronto Cana…
