Coldplay Live

I've never been to any of their concerts before:smug:

Cus that is lame, even thou the presale has been giving crap tickets, atleast that eliminates some of conjestion for Saturday morning.

I attended the amazing BBC Concert with my brother on Wednesday but we never received actual tickets for the event, instead when we arrived we were just presented with numbered stickers which was stuck to my confirmation email and they let us in with that. He's not bothered but it's been really bugging me since as I am a completist and so would love to have a memento from the day. Is there anybody out there who has an unused ticket, or an extra used ticket from the concert? Please PM me or post on here if you can help with this, I am willing to pay! :rolleyes:

Did anyone just catch this? I randomly was flipping through my satellite guide and saw "Coldplay" under the information for Daily Show. They performed 42. I love the album version, but hearing it played live was amazing. I can't wait to hear this in concert. For those who caught the show, what did you think? EDIT: They also played Lost to close the show out! Haha awesome!! Chris is hilarious too. Jon asked which nations the album was #1 in. Chris replied "United States, the Axis of Evil, everywhere." Hahahahh. good stuff.

What were the Coldplay items on sale at the Brixton and Barcelona gigs? What were the price too? Cheers

Does anyone think it would matter if I purchased a cheaper ticket vs a higher priced one? I don't see any advantage to better (closer) seats other than the fact that you get a better view of the band, but after all, this is COLDPLAY. Opinions please...before the concert is sold out!

I was having a quick look at the Liverpool arena site and came across the"seat map" as they call it it looks quite interesting as the band will have two walkways either side of the stage which go right out into the crowd,and there seems to be quite a large gap in the middle of the floor so we could possibly get an acoustic bit somewhere in the show. It all looks pretty good anyway

i love coldplay dont get me wrong but honestly it seemed like they rushed to put out tour dates and sell tickets and now they are pushing all of the dates back?! WTF! luckily its on a saturday and i dont have to take time off of work but really, set a date and stick to it. i would have been LIVID if i bought tickets to a show i could go to originally and then they changed it and i couldnt go. ugh

Hey, I wasnt able to get tickets for UK tour, So thinkin about going to Prague, the thing is the site that your linked to from the coldplay website, only seems to have the option to reserve tickets and pick them up from the venue within 24 hours?! Obviously I cant do that as i live in the UK lol Does anyone know any other way of getting tickets?

I know it's still early days, but has there been any hints as to when they'll be touring Australia? :\

Well, okay. My mom has extra flight miles rewards points. I tell her about the Today Show gig in NYC on the 27th. She says maybe. She asks Dad. Dad says yes. I scream and run out into the night. Long story short, I though I was going to record it, but it looks as if I'm going to BE there. So we need a new recording slave. Also, wish me luck on the plane (I've never been on one before :cry:). I hope I'm not the airsick type.

hi, düsseldorf 2003 it was the best concert i`ve ever seen..."one l love" and "god put a smile upon your face"! So my campfriend who lives in the city texts me and asks me if i won tickets to the concert. and i say no. he asks me if i want to go with him. and i say how did you get tix? He says he has connections. But i tell him how they are checking id to make sure the people who won them are the ones who are there. He says "I know what you're saying, I got this under control. Which type of venue do you feel best suits coldplay and their music arenas (indoors capacity between 12 000 and 25 000) or stadiums (venues usually used for football or rugby capacity over 30 000). i've heard both guy and chris admit they're not ready to play stadiums and personnally i agree with them. would love to hear from people who have seem them at both types. for the sake of the argument lets ignore outdoor gigs cos lets face it which band doesnt look and sound awesome out in the open. and once again congrats to the boys on getting to number one!!

Sorry, I know I've asked for this before a few years ago and managed to get it but I recently lost all my music and with it the first of their 2 Crystal Palace gigs (27/6/05) That will teach me to back up eh!
