Well... share. I got REALLY angry when I came on here and found out it was leaked, LOL, because the MULTIPLE THREAD RETARD BOMB WENT OFF and I couldn't find a THING (and my beloved Perv Unit was buried under the pages). Especially when the Search took a dump on my plans. I'm STILL trying to get it :P my internet's so fuckin' slow! I'm just starting to get the fourth smallest track now (SS) and I feel like smashing whoever works at Optus! No good company, their technical assistance people keep repeating the same instructions (cmd ipconfig, check cables are plugged in, disable and re-enable connection), no wonder why :dozey:. One of their people even told us once to t…

I don't know if anyone has already posted this, but Amazon.com has posted part 3 of their interview with Coldplay! http://www.amazon.com/Viva-Vida-Coldplay/dp/B000RPTQ1C/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1212688507&sr=8-1 It's an impromptu performance of Lovers in Japan by Jonny and Chris! It leads into a music video of Chinese Sleep Chant and a performance of Yes!

Anyone ever wonder if they meant for Lost to be sort of a response to fix you? Not only are the themes similar, but they both incorporate the organ in a really specific way- I was just thinking about it which enjoying the new album- maybe nobody else agrees. It just seems like Lost is saying, hey I don't need to be fixed, sure I've gotten lost, but that's life and these things happen- Ill take it as it comes. Know what I mean?

Justin Timberlake was the inspiration for Coldplay's new album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends, according to frontman Chris Martin. The band's drummer Will Champion is such a fan of Timberlake's hit track Cry Me A River, he used it as inspiration for one of their's tracks, Lost! Martin says, "One song we're always trying to chase is Cry Me A River in terms of the beats and everything.I know that is one of Will's favourite songs. And he did all the drums on Lost!" http://www.showbizspy.com/news/06042008/justin-timberlake-inspires-coldplay-album

Well after an exciting day of performances and the album leaking, and after listening to the album some 6 times, I have decided to delete the whole thing and wait until the release date and buy the CD. It might sound stupid, but I think of today as a very large listening party for all of us to preview the new album, after which we should wait until the actual album comes out. So if you have the will power, I encourage you all to drag the whole thing into the recycling bin/trash right now and empty trash/recycling bin :) It just might revive the anticipation for the new album.

Ok, here's just something fun to do. Or not. I'm not saying any of these songs sound like they could belong on the other 3 albums, they are all unique in there own way. I'm just bored and have nothing else to do. So what do you guys think each song could belong on another album? Name each one of course. Life in Technicolor - Definitely could have been on X&Y. Even the title would've fit well with it. I could just see this being on that album. Cemeteries of London - This is a hard one. It couldn't really fit on any of the other albums. But, if I had to choose then I guess it would be AROBTTH, since it's Piano driven. Lost! - In my opinion, a mix of AROBTTH an…

Well, now that the album is out, it's strange that the thrill from all of the Viva La Vida madness is gone. The excitement for it to come out is kind of gone because well it's out! well for those who aren't waiting it is. I don't know, it's just.... It was a journey through Violet Hill. All of that hype was fun! Then slowly everything was making it's way out. Now that it's all out.... it's just like, what now?

I am in a really anti-army and generally angry mood And angry Australians are NOT something you want to deal with If you think all these army threads will spawn thread babies and clutter up the forum post here (Seriously. Almost EVERY forum I have been on that had armies banned them because they just went nutso.)

I think these are the two strongest albums of Coldplay :) never since the sweetness and originality of Parachutes has any music thrilled me as much as Strawberry Swing or Yes or Violet Hill or Lost! or Lovers in Japan or Death and all his friends or Viva la Vida or Cemeteries of London or Life in Technicolor....

Im tied between the end of Strawberry Swing "The sky could be blue, i dont mind, without you its a waste of time" And Lovers in Japan "I have no doubt that one day the sun will come out" (Better in the acoustic version)

Who's going to like Coldplay's new record? Everyone who liked their previous records. On The Record: Coldplay Get Massively Minimal on Viva la Vida Given everything contained within, it's fitting that Coldplay decided to saddle their new album with two seemingly disparate titles (it's called Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, in case you weren't aware). Because if anything, it's the most bipolar thing they've ever done. Lyrically, it's obsessed with the duality of, well, everything, full of ruminations on life and death, corporeal pleasure and spiritual anguish, the emptiness of wealth and the reverence of poverty (all sung by a millionaire rock star wi…

I've been listening to VLV for 4 hours and even though I like it, I already consider that the first 2 albums are much superior so I'll make a stand, I'll go get my army jacket, my bayonet and I'll wait for all of you VLV dissidents here. Para/Rush of blood troops, let's rally here. I know VLV hasn't even been released yet so I'll give you guys time to enjoy the new tracks, but i predict that in a few weeks, most of you will join my party.
