It's always bugged me. In the closing part of the song Chris sings "tears stream down your face and I." This doesn't make sense. Can anyone explain it?

Viva La Vida is top 10 in the hot 100 billboard. Violet hill is top ten in modern rock charts. They should be first, but at least there in the top ten.

Coldplay in its new London studio: from left to right are Jonny Buckland, Will Champion, Chris Martin and Guy Berryman NEW YORK — With its frescoed walls and waiters in white jackets, the Cafe Carlyle is like a Hollywood version of old-school New York sophistication. It’s not usually a place to go looking for rock stars, but on Monday nights Woody Allen is often there, playing the clarinet with his New Orleans jazz band, and Chris Martin, the singer of the British rock band Coldplay, catches his sets when he can. At a small table just inside the door, between bites of salmon and sips of a Bellini, Martin recalled why he was initially drawn to Allen’s films. “Ever…

Hey there I'm hoping someone could give me some advice on pursuing the tickets... as it happens I'm from Slovenia but would desperately want to go to the Vienna concert; do you think I have to get the tickets in Vienna, or will they be sent to me by mail? I kind of believe that a telephone call would be enough and that they would be delivered to my home. What's the standard procedure for the tickets anyway, if you for instance live in Ireland and want to go to an UK concert? thank you..I just want to go there and experience Coldplay finally!

Jingle Houses Are Forced to Compete With Coldplay June 01, 2008 By Eric Newman Jingle houses are singing the blues. Whereas, musicians were regularly tapped to create proprietary music for TV and radio ads, today's agencies are frequently leaving them out of the loop by licensing tracks from top and up-and-coming talent or using software tools to create their own music. One need look no further than Apple which is concurrently running iTunes ads featuring the mega-band Coldplay and MacBook Air ads with up-and-comer Yael Naim. "There is a lot of circumventing of the musician in a lot of ways," said Dave Cannon, director of interactive services at Movéo …

Just read the new edition of Q Magazine. Was initially really excited - it looked like a very long profile, including some great new pictures, and the band talking about each new track from the album. After a couple of paragraphs it became clear this was all about Chris. Guy, Jonny & Will were barely given any time. They were referred to as]"The Other Three" or "The Others" (the capital letters made it look like "The Other Three" was a separate band!), and any time the interviewer quoted them, it was usually about Chris. I know singers always garner more attention, and as frontmen go, Chris Martin is quite extraordinary, but in the interview he acknowledges h…

Inteviews i see is very important for any band not only Coldplay, especially before a album comes. because i read the interviews and then after listening to album makes me a lot more sense and makes it a pleasant experience to listen. and also i remember a lot of quotes from the interviews because they express the feelings of a person actually what is there in their mind! especially in music i prefer interviews and also making of an album or video like this because they give some facts behind it. any one agree with me?

New Coldplay album leaked to net Coldplay's album is out on 6 June in the UK and 7 June in the US Coldplay's hotly-anticipated new album has been illegally put on the internet a week before its UK and US release. The profits of record company EMI had fallen after the release of X&Y was delayed. The leak took place on Monday, the day copies were sent to UK radio stations and the day before it went on sale in Japan, its first country of release. An EMI spokeswoman said tigh…

If the Mods want to move this to Other Music once the initial hype this thread won't cause has died down then feel free. As a geek, I like to know about EVERY news item with the word Coldplay in it, so I figured a few other people may like to know also! Sunday Times, 1st June, Mark Edwards: On his way to meet me in a north London cafe, Merz has popped in to see his old mates Coldplay, who own a rehearsal space round the corner. “I didn’t mention your comments,” he says, with a wry smile. In my five-star, album-of-the-week review of his new album, Moi et Mon Camion, I suggested that only when at the very top of their game did Coldplay match his gorgeously melodic s…

Anyone know if the "Hidden Tracks" will be included if we've preordered from I-tunes? I'm worried they won't because (obviously) the titles are not listed.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080530.coldplay31gta/BNStory/Entertainment/home i used the search but couldnt find anything. sorry if it has already been posted Blowing minds, not woofers A record-label man doubles as an usher, herding a small, lightly shuffling group of music journalists into a listening room. “Sit anywhere,” he says, motioning to nicely stuffed chairs. “You can sit in the back too,” he says, “because we blew out the rear speakers at the last session.” Coldplay, the band whose colourful hit rhymes with mellow, is now rupturing woofers? While I picture straws breaking camels' backs, the lights go down and the album – …

Later this month... Coldplay will announce a new marketing campaign later this month, which their manager says will have “a huge global reach”. Dave Holmes, the band’s long time partner, said the idea was “pretty significant” and that he couldn’t “afford to have it get out.” Holmes’ announcement comes after it was revealed that the band’s new single ‘Violet Hill’ was downloaded 2 million times for free from their website. The single, which has now been released as a paid-for digital-download, was available to download from Coldplay’s website for one week. According to Music Week, the band are currently recording material which didn’t make it onto their forthcomi…

Firstly, I'm aware this should and could be elsewhere (i.e. the live section) but it will get much more airplay here and that's the effect I'd like to achieve. Please, mods, if you deem it totally irrelevant feel free to move it, but otherwise can it please stay here? Anyway, this is a gopetition I've created to try to get as many signatures as possible in favour of introducing some standing space on Coldplay's UK tour in December. Please, if you are in support of the idea, sign the petition at: http://www.gopetition.co.uk/online/19667.html
