Why worry about something that a) you have no control over and b) is so far in the future? I'll be real honest, i prefer the 'old Coldplay' of Parachutes and AROBTTH over Viva and MX, but to spend/waste your time fussing over what the next album is gonna be like just grinds my gears. If you hate MX so much, why are you a "Protector of Paradise" and why is your avatar the walking man from this era? :rolleyes: If you're a CP fan, you should know that there's a better chance of LP6 being a metal or a country album than MX vol. 2. Every Coldplay album has taken influences from different places, thereby making them all sound unique. For instance: Parachutes - some jazz style and Radiohead influences ARoBttH - kept the Radiohead sound, but with a bit of U2 X&Y - Umm . . . I'm not too sure about this one; furthering the U2 sound, I guess? Viva - Latino and African influences MX - Hip Hop and Pop influences LP6 - ? If you dont like MX, then go listen to the "old" Coldplay. They make music they like. Deal with it. If you're a fan, you'll understand and not complain about it. MX is GREAT! I think its full of energy and it fricking makes me happy. All Coldplay albums are different. I have to say AROBTTH was different from Parachutes. (And i think X&Y+Viva=MX.) Please just accept it, love it. all the LP6 talk piut this in my mind: OMG. Now we have to wait ANOTHER 2-3 years for a new album. Sorry. But i wanna be happy with what i have.
