Magic loved since first listen. Oceans just captures me the studio version with the reverb oh!

4. ASFOS - Singing it for the last two days 8.5/10

5. Another's Arms - Showcases Chris's voice hauntingly 8/10

6. Midnight - I like I really do but just not my favourite 7.5/10

Ive only heard magic, midnight and a sky full of stars.

 

Ive thought thats the only ones they have released but if theyve released all those songs that you guys are rating then whats the point of buying the album lol.

 

Im guessing people are referring to the live versions of some of the songs?

 

Of the ones ive heard, a sky full of stars is by far the best. I dont really like magic and midnight is ok but ASFOS is coldplay back to their best!

Midnight, Magic, A Sky Full of Stars. Well, ASFOS has official audio from the band's website and will be the 2nd single available on itunes this coming saturday.

 

I'd suggest going here for a nice summary of Coldplay news of the past week. It's a little project Coldplaying are doing on youtube and very handy for times like this.

How can so many people rank Always In My Head so near or at the top of their list? It's ok but moves at such a bland mid-tempo pace. That song compared to just the other songs released from Ghost Stories seems pretty lacking to me. I don't know.

 

And how have so many people ranked O as being on their top? Where are you guys hearing O?

Regarding Always In My Head. Mid-tempo pace agreed, but not bland. You're saying it like its a bad thing. Maybe some of us like the easy going pace it travels at?

 

Regarding O (Fly On). There was an hour long radio interview with Zane Lowe on R1 and now on Youtube with Chris that played snippets to a bunch of songs, this one included. The high ranking came from a mixture of the song itself and the obvious emotional attachment Chris displayed upon the song playing.

 

A longer snippet of O (Fly On) can be heard on the audio recording versus the Youtube video.
