Does anyone know how many people this venue seats? Looking at the seating chart, it looks bigger than the Sony Studios, but they're calling the shows intimate so it must not be too big.

To those who don't know:

Royce Hall is an auditorium on the UCLA campus. It's used once in a while for concerts.

It seats 1836.

After trying absolutely everything to get tickets to the Sony Studios shows and not succeeding, I'll be crushed if I'm not able to get tickets to this show. As much as I love the idea of an intimate venue, I hate that this means it'll be even harder to get tickets :(

I'm lucky I go to UCLA and can make this show if I get tickets, but does this mean that they are not going to do more shows throughout US at larger venues? because I really loved their Hollywood Bowl Mylo Xyloto gig

This is what is to be called a 'warm up tour', or a tour just to get beck to the felling of going on tour again. So, yes, the real 'Ghost Stories World Tour' will be announced with tons of USA dates, but whether or not that the dates will be in arenas or performing arts centers/theaters are up to the band. from what I have been hearing, this album would fit more in an intimate venue than arenas, and I could agree. I hope the tour is of intimate venues, I mean I like arenas, but Coldplay in one of those up close venues would be amazing. :)

Hoping I can get a ticket for this! I graduate with my master's degree on the 16th and I couldn't ask for a better graduation gift!

I too missed out on all the Sony shows after trying every which way to get in. Hope to make this one!

If anybody has information on when the tickets go on sale, please do post it here.

Does anyone know if they are all GA seating or if there will be assigned seating for the Royce Hall show. I wasn't lucky enough to get into the Sony studios shows so am keeping my fingers crossed I can go to this one.

Trying desperately for either this, or NYC. I have a feeling this show is going to be excellent.

Hoping to get tickets. I'll be driving from SLC to the show.

Does anyone know if they will only be taking a Citibank card for this one as with the Sony studios and Beacon Theatre in New York?

I think it'll be a set of tickets allocated to Citi members, and a separate general onsale. That's the impression I got from the NY thread.

I want tickets so bad, I feel LA might be one of the hardest ones to get tickets for

What happened for NYC ? I didn't get an email and it's sold out ? What's with this citi card holder stuff ? I'm concerned about the LA show !

Citi Card holders are getting a presale thing??? I remember getting the email for New York but I haven't gotten or heard anything about the LA Show.. I wish they would give us a heads up like a day or two in advance!

I didnt even get emails for NYC

I have a feeling the tickets will go on sale next week for this show... For New York they went on sale a week and a half before... sooooo everyone should be prepared !! :)

Does anyone know the price range? I could've sworn someone said it started at $59??

We're pleased to report that @londongrammar will be the opening act in LA on 19 May. (Ticket info for that show coming soon.) A

Via Coldplay News\Messenger today:

LA ticket info will follow in our next email.

I was nervous that the tickets would go on sale tomorrow since I'll be at work and wouldn't have a chance to buy them. I hope I'm able to buy some tickets.
