This is your quote below, posted September 29

So a 'couple of days' is 22 days (and counting)? Okay, got it. And we should believe your 'legit' news whereas this other source isn't? Gotchya.

I'm not calling you a liar, but I don't see how you expect us to believe you and not this source

Ohhhhhh

Wow, I don't mean to be rude, but, jc90, you do have some pretty good comebacks

I don't know why everyone keeps thinking the single was going to come out Monday through Thursday or Saturday or Sunday singles only come out on Fridays nowadays

Well, singles only become available for purchase on Fridays. The band can drop the song on YouTube on any day of the week without "officially" releasing it. Midnight was that way. It was not available to buy for more than a month after the premiere of its music video.

I thought Benjamin Franklin came up with the idea....

He did.

Source: I am actually related to him. Direct descendent of one of his sisters :P

Daylight Savings wasn't implemented until WWI though, so maybe they meant Chris is descended from whoever decided to instate it

Apparently, Franklin and Willett both came up with the idea independently...although I'm sure Willett only did so because he wanted confusion to never stop, and to inspire Daylight and the ticking Clocks :P

I personally dislike your ancestors decision to make everyone change the clocks, a lot.

I feel like Rik's tweet is very important.... He's basically using a "telegram" form on his tweet as if he was in the front lines at the war and he's basically saying: All is good at CP headquarters, sorry for radio silence = sorry for not tweeting, talking or saying anything, so basically sorry for being so quiet about AHFOD, we will contact soon = news are on the way, the rest is unimportant... I interpret that tweet as saying: sorry for being so muted about the album, news coming soon!

Hope the Single gets released soon.

Hoping we get to see the video tomorrow, being that it's a big festival in India called Dussehra.

Oh OK thanks for the clarification :)

It's all making sense now. They want to make an uplifting album inspired by the stories of people who have gone through extreme hardships. Look at Ms. Clayton and the sponsoring of team Britain.

That is a really good thought

Random thought: I'm wondering if the lotus flower will show up in the album or single artwork. It is connected to Indian culture, especially as a religious symbol.

Oh OK thanks for the clarification :)

No problem. :)

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"

To get ourselves a little OT, the Instagram account for the Grammys is showcasing a collection of albums from fans each Wednesday. Heres an example:

Any1 interested in doing it?

Today is Dusshera in India. Let's see if we hear something.

I do believe in Clayton's news. I think she might have given her vocals for the new album. On that note, another quick hint: look out for female background vocals in the new single (recorded in India). Not sure if it was Clayton and not sure if it was a collaboration - sounded very low key like Another's Arm.

Are you saying that you heard a female voice in the new song? Or did I misread you?

Very faint background vocals (like Another's Arm backtrack, could have been just for some effect). Coldplay - release the single already! I want to talk about it!

Wait was the new single recorded in India?

Sorry, I meant video recording.

Haha. Thanks. Yeah Coldplay, just give us something!

And were the vocals similar to Clayton's?

Couldn't hear in that much detail.
