There has never been a better combination of pop and rock! I hope Coldplay change Pop for good and put it back on track!

Seems like the album cover is not just the poster but the poster and the frame. Bit too much in my opinion. I like the song but will's drums come up way to short, wish they would have put a focus on that. Would have made it more like a rocksong. Either way, i'm ok with it cause i like the overall atmo and sound. Cant wait for a tour and the whole album.

 

EDIT: Not sure how to feel about beyonce or any collabs for that matter.

In my opinion, its better than paradise and etiaw for sure.

This song honestly just blew me the fuck away. I had no idea what to expect, but good fuckin' Lord. I have never heard such a full sound from the band before. Pre-ordered and in love.

Also ANYONE WHO HASN'T EXPERIENCED A COLDPLAY PREMIERE BEFORE . . . I have a method to listening that I highly recommend if anyone wants to try it :D

 

 

 

This mostly just applies to Coldplayers who will be getting up in the middle of the night to hear the song . . . sorry Europlayers :P

 

Every time a Coldplay song has premiered in the middle of the night for me, I have my laptop/iPod and headphones ready beside my bed the night before. When the song is about to premiere, I just grab the laptop/iPod and navigate to wherever I need to while still lying in bed. As soon as the song starts, I lie back like I'm going to go back to sleep, close my eyes (keep the lights off!), and just let the song wash over me.

 

It's quite a euphoric experience . . . nothing to distract you. The perfect way to hear a Coldplay song for the first time in it's full glory. Highly recommended for anyone who will have the opportunity to try it tonight :D

Honestly scared for this album. The lyrics on AOAL are awful. No creativity there. If this is the first single, we can expect the album to sound similar to this and thats not good. Coldplay have gone mainstream and i dont like it. Im not even an Oldplayer and i dont like it

The song with Tove Lo (Fun) is probably the next POC or ASFOS.

Of all the female artists alive, why did it have to be Tove Lo? they could've maybe featured the singer from Echosmith or the one from PVRIS or this band!

In my opinion, its better than paradise and etiaw for sure.
