Amazing Day

Featured Replies

^I was going to make another list of titles with "Day" in them, but I got rid of it because "The World in a Day" was the only one I could think of

Yeah, good call. Hadn't thought of that.   The bridge is the part that seals it for me. They're just so similar.

 Why not "A Rousing Day?" because it's stirring/inspiring/moving. Sounds a lot less generic and uninspired. Besides, the current refrain doesn't even make sense grammatically. It's a non-sequitur. :P Only downside being it sounds like "Arousing" and I could see that being badly misinterpreted. :S

Everyone's arousing day will be when the lead single is released. ;)

"Breaks In The Chaos Of Time" would be the best title imho... but then it should've been a 20 mins prog rock song :D

^ What about just "Break" or "Time and Chaos" :D

How about "Chaos Of Time(s)"?

I actually like this one.

Kinda doesn't sound as uplifting..

True. But it's still better than Amazing Day.

Or just give a title like Viva or LiT where the title isn't in the song

^ I've really thinking that's what might happen.

They might just do that and change the title of the song altogether which I hope happens.

I think "Drifting" would have been the best title for the song. It fits not only the lyrics but also the melody.

That would be a great title to sum up the track very nicely. :D

I dont see how Amazing Day is any worse of a title when there are songs like Beautiful Day by U2 and Perfect Day by Lou Reed!!

^ For me at least, "beautiful" and "perfect" are two very hard-hitting words. I don't describe things as beautiful or perfect seriously unless whatever it is I'm describing is truly extraordinary, but "amazing" is a word I use a lot and it doesn't convey the same sense of bliss and wonder as the first two. It's kind of lazy, usually one of the first words you think of when you're thinking of things similar to "good" (which is even worse).

So for me it's a mixture of things

^ This. I completely agree with this statement... but I feel like they could have included "Day" in the title without using such a bland word like "Amazing", if they wanted to keep the MidNIGHT and Amazing DAY theory valid.

Well, to me those two song titles are just as lame.

Well' date=' to me those two song titles are just as lame.[/quote']

In my opinion, at least "Beautiful" and "Perfect", as @ColdplayingfromKansas said, are more in-depth and more specific words than "Amazing". Amazing is a low-level word, and it's quite bland... Beautiful and Perfect aren't great either but they're better at least.

I personally love 'Amazing Day' I think it's perfect & I couldn't imagine it being called anything else...its called 'Amazing Day' that's it's name & its beautiful [emoji304][emoji18]
