Honestly this is one of my favourite Coldplay songs. I love this song! :D

Easily the best song out of AHFOD.

I think this is my favorite off AHFOD. It has such a great suppressed energy - it's a really cool song, listening to it makes me really happy. Love the way it ends.

Birds is a great song. It has a similar energy to Hurts Like Heaven but with some indie influences. Definitely one of my favorite tracks of the album. I have a question though, what's the song Chris sang after Us Against the World at that Tidal Show??

This is the kind of song that will make me come back to the album even after 10-15 years.

Aww :( That was absolutely beautiful, and there's a good chance we will never hear it again unless they play UATW on the AHFOD tour and haven't forgotten it.

Here's the thing, i absolutely LOVE this song but it makes me angry because Chris has been telling whoever will listen that they are not a rock band anymore and Birds just proves to me that they are a better band when they write/play rock songs, albeit a soft rock song but its still rock and its easily the best track on the album...

My favourite song along with Army of One. But seriously, listen to the strokes- Under Cover of Darkness and tell me it aint similar.

I think my favorite thing about this song is how fast paced and upbeat the melody is throughout, but there are some parts where Chris' voice slows down and sort of floats over it all. I want to get up and dance, but I feel completely relaxed and peaceful at the same time.

This! That's totally where I get that "suppressed energy" vibe from. This song makes me happy and energetic/dancy and relaxed at the same time! :D
