I'm in the US and can't see the Q&A because I'm not a premium member :worried: I was planning on just watching the unpaid content and relying on the kind folks here because I already know I wouldn't use my free trial for anything else now that I've got so much to watch on Disney Plus :joy:

I really hoped they'd do that... here's to hoping they play Flags too but I think that's pretty unlikely just because it's a bonus track :joy: it's an amazing song though, I hope it gets an official release here in North America before long.

what music video?

So, I found this drawing of what I thought the eighth album cover would look like:

I made this before the first album hints starting popping up. I thought the album would have heavy symbolism and morse code. One of my biggest hopes was for it to have a song in a different language, and EL had a bunch of those! I imagined it with a song that spells out "Music is the universal language" in morse code. Now that I think about it, that's not too far off from "Music is the weapon of the future." :D

 

It's so much fun to look back and read all my album predictions I wrote. Especially on the day before EL's official release.

That q&a was really good.

 

But am i the only one who thought the “we’ll do both” is such a throw away line that I don’t think Chris was serious? Haha.

 

Guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

BTW, for a really long time the album had another title. It changed when the song Everyday Life emerged.

Would be interesting to find what that other title was.

You know what I just realized?

 

Watch one of those early live versions of Always In My Head, with the sun rising on the screen in the background.

 

 

It seems like they've had this sunrise theme on their minds for a while, even before Hypnotised ("It was dark, now it's sunrise").

Someone mentioned in a thread (can't remember who) that there is a track by track review of EL in iTunes/Apple music. Can someone share a recording? I don't use iTunes.
