When I say Coldplay at Nijmegen (september 10th) I allready noticed Chris wasn't looking 'healthy' but after I've read the review on the frontpage I'm worring more and more. What do you think? Is he sick? :stunned:

I hope the mindless constituents of MTV vote for these guys and help them win at least best Rock Video. They are the greatest thing to grace MTV probably. Hope they win. Im just watching for that reason!:D

So rumors are afloat that they are releasing a new album in December to finish off the decade(according to Briano Eno). What do you all think of this? It has me worried. I think it may be too soon. I'm excited for a new album, just like anybody else, but I want it to be great and Coldplay has never disappointed me...yet. Let's not make it a first!:uhoh:

So i went to see coldplay live in Nijmegen. brilliant hours for the show ,they played background music,that seems to sound as coldplay.......I WANT THAT.....it sounded so good ,real mellow.. Can someone tell me what it is??????? Thx

I went to see the proposal last night at an odeon cinema. I had been sneaky to my friends and arranged the outing myself. I managed to persuade every1 to go to an odeon cinema. I sat in my seat knowing the true reason i was there. To see strawberry swing. I got in about a minute late so i knew i hadn't missed the video. I waited and waited and waited by no video. Im not gunna lie i was pissed off. It was an average film. Funny in places and light hearted so it was good to watch but not one i would buy on dvd. Im disappointed. I wanted to show my friend "unintentionally" the beauty of coldplay :@

You know how when you discover a song, and you really love it so you play it over and over again? Then as time goes by you don't listen to it as much. And then later, when you listen to it again it reminds you of the time you first listened to it? For example, when the VLV album came out (which was in the summer), I listened to Death and All His Friends all the time. Now when I listen to it, all the memories and the "feeling" of summer comes back. Sometimes it makes me sad. Also, one day I was going to a baseball game (2 hour drive) and I had talk on repeat. I was looking up lyrics this morning, and I had a thought. I knew that Chris had used "Now my feet won't touch the ground" in both Life in Technicolor 2, and also in the song titled "Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground" on Prospekt's March. But then I found that he says "If you never try, then you'll never know" in Speed of Sound, as well as Fix You. I knew the line from Fix You, but hadn't realized that it was also in Speed of Sound. Are there other songs where certain lyrics are re-used?

Anybody here have a Coldplay song you just can't stand, one that, if it is the next song on your iPod, skip immediately to the song after to avoid hearing it? Unfortunately, I do. I just can't stand "A Whisper."

As you may or may not know, Guitar Hero 5 has just been released, which features "In My Place" by Coldplay. I picked it up this morning and wanted to play the song instantly. Now, before each song loads, you get a bit of trivia about each band.
