Gary Barlow has vowed to improve Take That's live show after his mother told him she prefers Coldplay to Take That and enjoyed Coldplay's concert more, writes ContactMusic today. The 'Greatest Day' singer has revealed Marjorie loved his group's spectacular 'Circus' stadium tour - which they undertook earlier this year and which featured elaborate stunts, a 60 ft mechanical elephant and carnival performers - but has now told him they need to improve after watching the 'Viva La Vida' tour concert at Wembley in London last week. He said: "My mum was blown away by Coldplay. She thought we were brilliant but they were better - and wasn't afraid to tell me. So I'll have to u…

COLDPLAY have donated £1million to a kids charity, The Sun can reveal. Chris Martin, 32, and his bandmates are keenly involved with Kids Company, which helps underprivileged children who lack adult support. They have visited its various centres - and also plan to give music lessons. Founder Camila Batmanghelidjh, based in South London, said: "They were moved by the tough stories they heard, and want to be genuine participants." She said of the donation: "I got the feeling it was something they had planned from the start of their careers." http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/2646412/Coldplay-donate-1million-to-childrens-charity-Kids-Company.…

Gallagher vindt het onterecht als ‘Strawberry Swing’ verscheidene awards zou winnen, terwijl hij hetzelfde idee al een jaar eerder had. just found this on the internet, it was a dutch article, but it says: coldplay has a new copyright case. after joe santriani and cat stevens, also andy …

I did a quick search and didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share it with all of you. Thank God I go to college in the Bay Area because I am MOST CERTAINLY there. http://www.jambase.com/Articles/19657/Bridge-School-Neil-Young-Monsters-of-Folk-No-Doubt-FF "The Bridge School Benefit is an annual non-profit charity concert held in Mountain View, California every October at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. The concerts are all organized by musician Neil Young and his wife, Pegi. Proceeds benefit The Bridge School. The first concert was in October 1986, and, with the exception of 1987, the concert has been held every year since. As a practice, but not a rule, the perfor…

Let's start with what I think is the most recent and obvious. I came across this song of David cook on vh1 and couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance with the music video for "the scientist." [ame= ] [/ame] Now I am not saying , that coldplay has a copyright on backward shooting. But having David cook, walk backward through a forest, and jump back clumsily over a log, and enter a car, all at the exact same camera angles as used in "the scientist" ... is a HUGE coincidence. Now we've had the fray for a few years. But what about "All American Rejects" and "pussycat dolls" all of a sudden these two preppy bands have sad singing-on-the-beach type musi…

GARY BARLOW PLANNING CHARITY CONCERT Take That star Gary Barlow enjoyed raising money for charity during his Mount Kilimanjaro climb so much he is staging a star-studded concert to benefit another good cause. Gary Barlow is organising a star-studded charity show. The Take That star - who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for charity last year - wants to stage a one-off spectacular at London's Royal Albert Hall in honour of British organisation Children In Need. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Gary has really been bitten by the fundraising bug. He was amazed by people's generosity during his Kilimanjaro climb. "As soon as he got off the mountain he …

Okay, so as Wembley gets closer and closer (I wish I were going...) I can't help but think about the tour being over... WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?! We won't have any new photos of the boys on a daily basis. We won't know what's going on day to day. What will happen? Do you think they will go to the Bakery and buckle down and write write write? Will they drop off the face of the planet?! Does anyone know their future plans? Or has anyone asked the Oracle?

I know that Jonny attended University College London and studied Astronomy & Mathematics, but did he really complete his degree and graduated in these two subjects? I've done plenty of research, and I can't find anything.

Today I was In the Car listening to Twisted Logic and I never really took Time to let it soak in . I love the song but it's lyrics are somewhat eerie "You go backwards but then you go forwards again You go backwards but then you go Created then drilled and invaded If somebody made it someone will mess it up And you are not wrong to Ask who does this belong to It belongs to all of us " I don't know but for some reason I guess after seeing " The Bridge " I guess I get images of people scared and running away from thing's only to jump off a building or something. It's Creepy. Any songs that creep you guys out.

should I sing for a performance? I was asked to perform at a fair on October 11th, and choose a song to sing. Coldplay immediately came to my head. I obviously love all their songs, but which one do you think would be best to perform, and one that the crowd would also love, even if I did suck. Just curious...
