Hey every1 I've decided that i am going to write a lil something to send via fanmail email to the boys! But i wanted to post it here too for you guys to read. I'm calling it "What Coldplay has Done to me" and it's all about the inspirations and feelings i have because of Coldplay. So......i'm working on it little by little and will post it here soon! In fact i think this would be a good thread.....where we can all come and say things we're grateful to Coldplay for, or things we do and feelings and inspirations we have because of them and their music. Good idea?? Will anyone else join me? Meg

Half of the fun of loving this band of ours as much as we do is being able to discuss thier past work while waiting for whatever it is that the future will bring. With the tour now over and a new web site up and running (or at least in the making) the Viva era comes to a close. Now that is has had the time to sink in we can look back on the past 15 months with some well informed opinions. My question for all of you is as follows: In your opinion what are the 5 best songs of the Viva la Vida era? mine- 05. Lovers in Japan 04. Glass of Water 03. Viva la Vida 02. Violet Hill 01. Strawberry Swing I take a great amount of joy in being able to be a fan of a ban…

I just had to tell you all this. Ever since the Tampa concert got cancelled (which i had tix for), Coldplay songs have been following me everywhere It all started when i walked into work one day and VLV came on the radio like 30 seconds after i got there. Then i left to get lunch and walked into the restuarant and Violet Hill was on the radio. I got home that night and satellite tv music was on @ our house and The Scientist was playing. *doo doo doo doo* (twilight zone music) Then i guess it was several days later when i finally realized it was following me LOL and my friend pointed it out. We were at a store and i was paying.....and as i approached the cashier,…

Unios. In some forums the name of new born comments with humorous, without thinking how many people have the name of a flower like Jacinth, Narcissus, Daisy or Rose to mention just a few. It is requested in this forum not to mistreat the name of Apple, all the names are worthy. This is the first rule on this Apple religion. Join …

Hi everyone! http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/music/live/stories/voting_new.html?utm_source=left_nav Voting in the Absolute Radio Live Stories (personal entries, not the main competition) ends in a few hours (Friday 5pm, BST) and Julie needs your help to beat Oasis and Guns 'n Roses to get into third place. Jenny and Lucy look to have 1st and 2nd places wrapped up with healthy leads, but Coldplay Karma dictates that we must have a 1-2-3 in the Absolute Competition where the results will be announced live on air today from 5pm (UK time) on Geoff's hometime show :awesome: Please look for Julie:Coldplay (she's 18th voting button down from the top, in brown) at http…

I don't know if any of you remember, but someone asked the oracle if The Scientist was in the new Twilight movie soundtrack... Well it was released to day... and phew! It's not there! How'd they get Thom Yorke to do a song for Twilight though? The soundtrack listing for The Twilight Saga: New Moon has finally been released. Sorry to those who were hoping, but Robert Pattinson won't be singing on this disc. Instead, fans will get an education in a lot of indie music, with songs from Death Cab For Cutie, Thom Yorke, Grizzly Bear, Ok Go, The Killers, and Muse. * DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE — MEET ME ON THE EQUINOX * BAND OF SKULLS — FRIENDS * THOM YORKE — H…

Have you noticed that the songs # 5 of every Coldplay album have been all a great success..... I dont know, but I was just listening to my Coldplay albums as I always do, and I started to think.... Yellow, Clocks, Talk, Lovers In Japan... all of them have been hits, at least here in my city (Monterrey, Mexico).... Yellow is like the Coldplay classic you should listen to. Clocks is that song that everyone wants to have in their iPods. Talk was a success, all the awards live performances of this song were amazing... And Lovers In Japan is still being played in the local radio stations months after it was released! Do you think next Coldplay's album song # 5 …

I brought this Coldplay DVD boxet like a few months ago and I have never really watched it. I saw a little bit of it once, but I kind of started to fall asleep :\ It got the dvds. Called: "Up Close And Personal" and "Back To The Start". All I remember seeing is Chris and Jonny being interviewed then laugh about something, the dvds are just never before seen interviews with like concert footage and stuff like that. Does anyone else have these? It was $20 Canadian for both together :D
