It's been nine months since I saw the boys live and I am now counting down to the three shows I will be seeing soon. I am especially thrilled that Speed of Sound is on the set list, as I have never heard them perform that live. (I missed the X&Y tour!) The last time I was on this forum, I had just recovered from two broken feet, which didn't stop me from attending last year's festivals. This time, my old and worn out body will be able to jump high with my flashing wristbands! How splendid!

So im going to my second coldplay concert this friday and i want to know what i can do to make my expierence the best that i can! Im already bringing money for merchandise, a bag to pick up confetti and i made an outfit :) what else can i do? any tips?

Hi I was just wondering and I really do mean wondering! is there is anyone who lives in Suffolk (at near Bury st Edmunds) up for doing some coldplay cover stuff :P I can supply a place to practice where I work as a sound man which has a PA and any other equipment you can think off, top quality too! If this was to happen the covers we do will be with multi-track backing (same as coldplay uses) for extra instruments :) I'm ideally looking for a guitarist and drummer, may be a keyboard player but I play bass and sometimes keyboard so we will see. Has anyone noticed the difference between former Chris Martin sigs on legitimate signed memorabilia and the sig on the signed Mylo Xyloto programmes from Live Nation? A similar Coldplay preprint sig is also on the inside of the programme as part of a thank you to the fans. Did Chris change his sig, is this an autopen, or did someone else sign these as part of the promotion?

Anyone from the UK ever go abroad to watch Coldplay? Since i couldn't make any of the UK tour this time round despite having tickets i couldn't get the time off work :( So i've been looking at the European tour dates and there are a few tickets still left for some shows! Hi everyone! i was doing some thinking today and i discovered that i really missed coldplay's "former sound"...you know..the sound that they had when they first started off in Parachutes and AROBTTH. They were just so different from the rest, and that made them unique. When X&Y came out, i admit that it was slightly different from the other albums but it was easier to get used to; one could still hear their old style. Am I the only one who missed it? :cry:

Given the band’s endorsements of, say, John Kerry, Barack Obama and initiatives like Make Poverty History, I am very (very) surprised that Coldplay’s Viva La Vida is used during congresses and promo spots of Holland’s biggest political party, the ruling rightwing VVD. Hello Coldplaying, I need your help on locating some referance photos for a little project I'm working on at the moment. Any photos of Chris leaning forward towards the microphone as he's singing..from Viva or MX era's.
