[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEH2p5y_fsg]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEH2p5y_fsg[/ame] Hey Coldplayers! My 4yr old son loves.. LOVES Coldplay as much as I do.. So, every other day I'll put on the Glastonbury concert and we'll sing along while we do chores around the house and it's so cute, because he takes out his guitar, piano and microphone and "pretends to be Chris Martin" :) His favorite song used to be "Yellow", but now it's "Talk" because (In my son's words) "The robot is cool" Hope you all have a great day :)

With Coldplay recently coming out and saying that the Xylobands are costing them far too much, would you (as fans) be willing to pay a little extra in your ticket price to keep the Xylobands on future tours? I know Coldplay doesn't normally repeat ideas every tour, but the Xyloband has made such a difference to the enjoyablility of the concert it seems- I mean, it was amazing already, but it just makes it that much better. For example: If Coldplay were to add 26 pounds (or about 40 dollars) to the ticket price at their recent concerts at the Emirates Stadium (about 60,000 people), they would be able to generate an extra 1.56 million pounds (or about 2.4 million dolla…

To me, it means inspiration, hope, and excitement....here's the story: Calgary,2012. The concert was amazing, i believe Coldplay can only do two things to your heart: Either make it pump out of your chest, fluttering with emotions, or making it come to a full stop for a second, as the music makes its way into you, sending those chills down your spine, and making one second seem like forever. I learned that on April 18th, when i walked into the dome. My eyes were scanning the place, anxious to get a glimpse of the stage. Finally, while seated (next to the best Godfather i could ask for, of course...) i could not get my eyes off the stage, i was trying to pictur…

Don't you guys dig Chris' style this era? I think it's sick, and I'm dying to have that Yellow G-Shock he's always wearing now. I have a red and purple one but I'm ordering the yellow one on Ebay. And the plain colored shirts with his cool jackets with the patches of color on them. I've seen Guy and Johnny wear them too. Just overall the Mylo Xyloto era with all the bright visuals and graffiti art has been my favorite Coldplay era in that aspect, I like all the subdued simple things too but I definitely prefer this look and feel. I've been dressing like I'm the black Chris Martin :laugh3: :laugh3:

Hi everybody, I wonder if anyone knows how to get the Flashing wristbands working again? I got mine from last weekend show in Ahoy in Rotterdam. And I really want to get them working again without opening en messing around with the wristband itself. I read some stories about RFID en WIFI, but nothing concrete. So does anyone know how these flashing wristbands work? Many thanks!

I will be seeing Coldplay this summer...:D I was curious about the bracelets though! So I know that each person receives a glow in the dark bracelet, however, I heard that they were remote-controlled. Is that true? I mean that would be stinking awesome because I also heard that they "blink" to the beat of the music! But that will kind of suck if it will only ever turn on during the concert. Just a silly little question! :)

Hello! I wonder if there is anyone who can answer me this question which is in my head for at least a week now. I know Chris Martin is a great singer and I´m very happy he is doing it but what I don´t know is that how they decided that it will be him to be the singer(because Will is also great at singing). I searched internet for answer but no luck, I´ve seen a comment somewhere that Chris drew the short straw and so he had to be the singer but I don´t believe this... So the question is how the band decided who will be the singer? Thank you for the answer

There are over 18,000 registered users on this forum. I was wondering if I'm the only black Coldplay fan here. It wouldn't bother me if I am, but if not, I'm curious to know what peoples reactions are when they find out you're into Coldplay. Personally, I get alot of raised eyebrows when people discover the kind of music I listen to, and not just Coldplay.

Not that I'd never heard of them before (obviously) but I never really paid much attention to them before until Paradise came out (although I did like Violet Hill), which I absolutely love. My boyfriend really likes them so I thought I'd surprise him with tickets for the june show at the Emirates Stadium. I bought MX so I'd know a few songs and quite like it, my favourite songs are Paradise, Major Minus, Princess of China and Up in Flames. What other Coldplay record should I check out? Do they change the setlist each night? Thanks for your help

Hey guys, I'm from Germany and I have a question: My friend is a very big fan of coldplay, and I'd love to give her an autograph of coldplay as birthday present (I know, it could be too late, but I guess she wouldn't care). So my question is: How can I get an autograph of Coldplay? Is there an adress or something like that? I looked for it on ebay, but I think they're nearly all fake... I didn't know where to post this, I hope, I'm in the "right" corner now ;) Thankyou and Greets from germany! bird of paradise

Not that long ago--a decade, maybe?--every single concert ticket contained a warning in big block letters: NO CAMERAS OR RECORDING DEVICES. Anyone who dared try to slip in even one of those disposable cameras (remember those?) risked being roughed up and ejected. I even remember going to gigs in the early days of cell phones where signs admonished people for even thinking about bringing something like that to a concert. Many venues and tours insisted that they be banned or be confiscated at the door. No, really. Eventually, though, the cell phone won. Now when you go to a gig, half the audience is watching the show through a tiny screen that they're holding up i…

Question: Did coldplay write the song 'Pour me' or is it a cover? I think they wrote it but a few people I know have doubts. Thanks.

I guess I've got to give her brownie points for having good taste in people. There's an audio at the link. Coldplay: Earnest trendsetters EVERY word uttered by Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin seems to become a trending topic. Martin's recent revelations that he suffers tinnitus from playing loud music and regrets calling his band's fifth record Mylo Xyloto both copped a flogging on all good sites where opinions rule. He mock groans when told Mylo Xyloto and "stupid" are easily Googled. "You say something stupid and someone tells you it is trending," he says. "How come no one ever trends about that time with those strippers? Me and my wife and those six strippers, no one trends that!" Both of us laugh knowing this will indeed trend and by the time the Ame…

Singer says tour gimmick is costing them a fortune Coldplay's Chris Martin has admitted that the band spend a fortune on the flashing wristbands they give out to fans at gigs. The singer told the Sun that they were trying to find a way of still handing out the Xylobands to punters, which flash with different colours during their shows, without "going broke". Speaking about the accessories – which he previously claimed were designed by a sex toy inventor – he said: Most of the money we're earning on the tour is put into the wristbands. We have to figure out how to keep it going without going broke because it's a crucial part of the concert. The frontman also…

Ricky Gervais has defended Coldplay against an apparent "backlash" among certain sections of the public. The Office comedian, a long-time fan of the 'Princess of China' indie band, believes it is impossible to criticise their desire to be successful. Speaking about "straight down the line" bands, he told Q magazine: "Coldplay. There's obviously a backlash against them." While acknowledging that the Mylo Xyloto group are "not the coolest in the world", Gervais insisted that they should be praised for their worldwide acclaim. The 50-year-old added: "When you meet them they're nice, funny, normal people who are trying to be excellent at something. "You can…

Hi everyone! I'm pleased to present...'Coldplay Live at the UEA - A Film for Oxfam' The film, using footage filmed entirely by fans in the audience, documents Coldplay's unique, intimate performance for BBC Radio 1's Student Tour at the UEA, Norwich in 2011. I made the film not only to serve as a reminder of the best gig I've ever been to, but to raise awareness of my Oxfam fundraising campaign this summer. I hope that if Coldplay fans enjoy watching the film then they will consider donating. No matter how small a donation you can make, I'd really appreciate your support. If you'd like to donate please visit www.virginmoneygiving.com/rsfund The film took m…

Just wondering about this, i remember reading an official studio blog a while ago and read that it was a bit joke that chris always comes up with a last minute song that has to be rushed onto the album. I remember it was up in flames for mx and a message for x&y. Anyone know what the song was for the other albums? (if there was one)
