  4. THE NATION Cages Built for Children Raise Alarm Nine of an Ohio couple's 11 kids were forced to sleep inside wooden structures, officials say. The parents' lawyer defends the practice. By Josh Getlin, Times Staff Writer WAKEMAN, Ohio — They looked like perfectly normal kids, riding bicycles in the streets and playing on a plastic jungle gym in their backyard. But neighbors had one nagging question about Michael and Sharen Gravelle's 11 children: How could all of them, 1 to 14 years in age, possibly live in such a small home? People are friendly but private in this rural community west of Cleveland, and nobody dared to intrude. But when police raided the fi…

  9. From USA Today On their "A Bigger Bang" album, out Sept. 6, Britain's Rolling Stones level an unusually direct blast at President Bush, calling him "more hypocrite than patriot" and ripping his foreign policy agenda. "It's liberty for all, democracy's our style/Unless you're against us, then it's prison without trial." Mick Jagger sings in Sweet Neo Con. Most previous political commentaries by the Stones, from Street Fighting Man to Undercover of the Night, have been more veiled.

Haha, I didn't see too many posts on computer games...so let us all bring out the geekyness in us, and let's tell each other "who pwns who." Haha, I myself used to be a crazy die-hard computer gamer. Not so much anymore, getting more into music buuuutt....I'm not a "Victim" of Runescape or any mmorpgs, :p But I'm a Star Wars geek and I played JK Academy, 'twas pretty schweet. I also do BF1942 and BF2. Also, MoH: Breakthrough. Gah, that's all I can think of. Oh ya, I alo used to play Freelancer alot, not really anymore. Ok well now that all of you know I'm a geeky gamer (lol), I'ma shut up.

  14. just finished it. was it me or was that not as good as the last one? It felt like she was just filling in a couple of plot lines before tying it all up in the next book. I don't think anything much really happened apart from the death and even then it wasn't exactly a huge moment.

What do you think of Zinedine Zidane's return in the French team ? I find it very pretentious and it is as he finds himself indispensable to the team  Maybe I'm wrong (hope so), but when I heard him say that it was "just to help the team to qualify for the World Cup", I thought what I've just said. Well, they won yesterday against Ivory Coast (3 - 0) but I would have found it funny if they had lost... :sneaky:

http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/message/index.php Sunday, September 11th, 2005 A Letter to All Who Voted for George W. Bush from Michael Moore To All My Fellow Americans Who Voted for George W. Bush: On this, the fourth anniversary of 9/11, I'm just curious, how does it feel? How does it feel to know that the man you elected to lead us after we were attacked went ahead and put a guy in charge of FEMA whose main qualification was that he ran horse shows? That's right. Horse shows. I really want to know -- and I ask you this in all sincerity and with all due respect -- how do you feel about the utter contempt Mr. Bush has shown for your safety? C'mon, g…

I was watching the Ellen Degeneres show today, and Warner Bros has donated $500,000 to the Red Cross for the victims of the hurricane through Ellen, and if the viewers match that total, they will donate another $500,000. So I figure if you're thinking about donating, why not do it this way? Go here: http://www.ellen.warnerbros.com and follow the links.
