This is a topic for fellow lovers of knitting of the standard or even the purl kind (one that I cannot do as yet). Me? I am currently halfway through knitting a blanky for the up and coming cold winter months, in irish colours ofcourse ;) I don't know about other countries but over here it has taken on a new light and is now popular again, so if this topic fizzes don't blame me... :P

Have you noted that when a person says etc... they don't mean like "and much more"; it's just a way to give the impression you know more or have something else to say, but you've shortened it (you don't have anything to add, or just a very little), like: I bought some apples, onions, lettuces, etc... you never know whether it ends there or it means a lot more or just another thing. It gives the impression you know a lot, or much more than you really do. It's just a random thought I got today after reading, and I tested it, listening to what people said (listening to converstaions I mean) and like all of them (my test was on a very small amount of people though) …

what is it? I know what it means, but are you suppose to know by it? Like we were talking and someone said, and they ask you common knowledge staff.... so I said, well what is that? It's amazing how music can make you feel sometimes. I was just sitting here, surfing around the boards, posting here and there, when I suddenly realized how quiet it was. Unbeleivably quiet. Thursday May 13th Camilla Grace died when she got her head stuck in the gate of her stall. Her neck snapped when she panicked and she died instantly. She was only 15 days old. She was a Knappstrupper with beautiful markings. She was so sweet, and everyone at the barn misses her much. :cry:

i was posting like a normal mammal and than something unidentified decided to introduce itself by jumping in my eye and harrass my pupil rather than politely shaking my hand. now my eye is all fuzzy and im looking around for it. im suprised my eye-goo didnt kill it. anyone open to suggesting to me what it was? if you say spider so help you god. and i think it was a moth.....anyways. any suggestions?

my friend accidentally hit me in the face with her hockey stick when we were having a one on one. it's annoying me, luckily it doesn't hurt too bad. it was really fun though lol. :P
