So it's still on? It's kind of strange how it's not really being promoted anymore. I thought perhaps they decided to delay it until after the TIDAL gig since that's when they were planning to premiere some new songs.

i'm back to believing that coldplay album release party won't be streamed today, but closer to the release date. there is too much silence for this to be streamed live today. not even a tweet from anchorman.

I think a new track gets released tomorrow for some reason.

Coldplay was never really a normal rock band. I believe that viva itself is something that Chris does not see as a rock album

I don't know if "inspired" is the right word--I just remember Chris saying he was starting to listen to Rammestein as they were finishing up the latter stages of the album. Whether it was too late to have an influence or not, I have no idea :P

I'm not the most informated person in this forum, but what I understand is that the band is having some kind of relation (interview, gig, we don't know) with Yahoo today BUT we are not going to see it for now. They also played in a couple of tv shows in America but nothing aired yet
